This journey requires a pro-active type of person just to comply all the requirements that
needs to be done and submit. As observed, on this activity you can distinguish of your
classmates/groupmates that are willing to pass this subject and some are just blabbering
about of their failed grades during midterms.
As I approach the barangay officials they were very accommodating and offer us some of
their snacks. As we tackled about our feeding program and they gave their opinions such as
where will be the venue and gave us date and they made a fun with us that ‘’Pwede sad mi
mo-apil anang feeding program ninyo maskin papa mi?’’ and without any hesitation, we said
yes with a big bright smile right on our faces. Even, the barangay captain offered that they
have a dirty kitchen that we can use it during the upcoming activity.
It made me so happy and grateful that the barangay officials are very supportive to us for our
upcoming activity.
During gathering of data I approached the Barangay Secretary about their data such as
community map, demographic data, historical data, economic data, political and legal
functions they called it ‘’The Barangay Profile.’’ The secretary is so genial to us even we are so
crowded because of their office because it is for the officials only for their meetings so it is
only limited. And we are all sweating but the barangay officials are so amenable people, I said
‘’pasensya kayo Kap, Sir and maam, nakahuot jud mi diri.’’ And they understand and
appreciate us as students because we study hard for our parents sacrifices.
