1. Purpose

National Drilling and Service Company LLC (The “Company” or “NDSC”) is committed to
deliver its services in the highest level of operating standards and to perform the job
safely and effectively by providing a quick access of the Drilling Operating Procedures to
its staff.

2. Scope

To provide a safe working procedure for accumulator bottle (Valvcon Closing Unit)
isolation.

3. Responsibility

5. GENERAL SAFETY CONSIDERATIONS

This is a non-routine task involving work with high pressure. A formal PTW is to be
completed and approved prior to commencing the isolation.

6. ISOLATION PROCEDURE
 Close, isolation valve on the required accumulator bottle bank
 Switch off the electric and air pump for the accumulator unit.
 Open the bleed off valve. Bleed off all pressure in the bottles for the required bank.

7. OPENING THE ACCUMULATOR BOTTLE

 Open the hexnut cap of the accumulator bottle.
 Remove the small cap for the filling valve.
 Fix the nitrogen pre-charge pressure gauge assembly at the filling valve
 Bleed off all the nitrogen pre-charge to 0.
