Dear Sabrina,
Please let me express y deepest sympathies to you and the children. I was shocked and
m
shattered when I heard about Frank's horrific accident. I can't even imagine what you have been
going through for the past ten days.
As you know, Frank and I have been colleagues and friends for the past eight years. His tragic
loss leaves a terrible void in our office. He was so well-liked and respected by everyone who came into
contact with him, both colleagues and clients alike. He had tremendous people skills, and as such,
was a role model in our company and the industry at large.
I trust that, when they are older, the children will be made aware of what an outstanding person
Frank was in his professional life.
Sabrina, please feel free to contact me if I can help in any way while you go through this very
difficult period. I will support you in any way that I can should you reach out to me.
Also, please tell the children how terribly devastated all of us are here at the company due to
their Father's tragic passing.

NGLANGGERAN
Mount Nglanggeran is situated in Nglanggeran village, Patuk, Gunungkidul. The mount is
constructed of ancient volcanic materials and is estimated active until around 70 million years ago.
The stones are quite huge and very challenging to climb on top of them. The local people call it
Mount Wayang because there are lumps of big stones which resemble wayang characters. From a
distance the formation of the stones is really amazing and giving scenic view of series of wayang
arranged on top of a plateau.
Mount Nglanggeran offers a distinguished sensation for night hike. There are some
alternative hiking tracks with different difficulties. The first hiking post will be the sloping rock
called Latar Gede where hikers can enjoy sunset. The hardest and most challenging part is when
arriving at the area of mountain rocks at more than 100 meters high. Beginner hikers should carefully
choose the track because there are some tracks that have steep narrow valleys. The highest
peak of Mount Nglanggeran is Mount Gede, a mountain of a half acre rock lump from which hikers
are able to enjoy the star-spangle, city lights, and the sunrise.
In this area, there is a narrow rift that only fits one person. It is called Goa Jepang which is
believed to be the hideaway of Japanese army chased by the American troops in World War II.

It began one afternoon, when I visited my grandmother for lunch. By the time I went
home, she hadbooked me a ticket to the neighbouring island of Lombok for her friend’s
funeral. Couple of days later, I found myself sitting inside a propeller plane for the first time.
Anyway, we landed at an unexpected place. This island has a better airport than the more popular.
It didn’t stop there. The roads were big and clean. I mean seriously. This island is quiet
modern. Oh, I almost forgot to mention. We had hired a private driver for our entire 3 day trip
and he was extremely helpful. Not only is he a good and fast driver, but he knows his island.
Every question my curious dad asked him, he could answer. It felt like we had Wikipedia
as a driver.
What I liked most about Lombok is that it’s not as directed towards international tourists,
but locals, the mindset of the people wasn’t as rough as of the Balinese. However, I did come
across one where a lady tried to sell cheap batik on a deserted beach for RP200, 000
(AUD$20). My granddad almost bought it out of pity, but my grandma dragged him out of it.
As he turned his back on her, the lady said okay! RP15,000 (AUD$1.50). What a difference! But
eventually, being the kind-hearted person my granddad is, he bought 5 pieces.
That’s a great experience.

I have many interesting things, but the low rider bike is the most favorite. It is really
bicycle. I have many at home.
What is so special about them is that they are a type of modified bicycles originally
from America. They became popular in Indonesia in 2004 and became less popular in the late
2008. “Superman is Dead” popularized these kinds of bikes in their music video clip. There

from ordinary ones. The bikes have colourful designs and unusual accessories.
My low rider bikes have three different types: The Low Rider, small, quite low to the
ground. The Cruiser which is little bit higher than the Low Rider and the Chopper which has

were both really excited. The flashing lights and bright colours made everything appear magical.
We were having a great time and we had been on most of the rides when Sarah pointed to the big
wheel. The sign said “$1 for a two-minute ride”.
At first I wasn’t sure, but Sarah had been on it before. “It only takes two minutes,” she said.
“Come on- it’s a really thrilling ride!” A minute later we were in the air. It was like flying! “This is
