Unit 2 Construction Portfolio

Portfolio Constructions will be counted as a 60 point


Create a construction on a clean sheet of white or colored unlined paper that
includes each of these constructions:
1. Copy a Segment
2. Copy an angle
3. Bisect a Segment
(Midpoint)
4. Angle bisector
5. Perpendicular Lines
6. Parallel Lines
7. Construct an Equilateral Triangle Inscribed in a Circle
8. Construct Square Inscribed in a Circle
9. Construct Hexagon Inscribed in a Circle
10. Proof (Your Choice)

Pictures: Be neat, creative and have fun with this! Here are some ideas :
 Abstract design
 Underwater design (e.g. Finding Nemo or SpongeBob Squarepants theme)
 Landscape
 Building or house
 Playground
 Football or soccer field, basketball court
 Your name or initials in a design

For each construction, label the construction. You may only use a compass and
straightedge for your constructions. Arcs must be shown. The actual drawing may be
done in light pencil, and then colored in. Take a picture of each construction and add
to yout Google Slides!
