my question. The group that
has the most answers will be
declared as the winner.
Do you understand?

7x3= 21

 Review Yesterday your topic is all

of previous Lesson about dividing numbers up
to 100 by 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Now, let’s have a quick
review. I have here another
flashcards just raise your
right hands if you want to
answer.

Do you understand? Yes, ma’am

6÷3= 3

4÷4= 1
10 ÷ 2 = 5

20 ÷ 10 = 2

56 ÷ 8 = 7

 Motivation( the boat is Do you want to play? Yes, ma’am

sinking) Okay, Let’s play the game
called “The boat is sinking”
are you familiar with that? Yes, ma’am

The mechanics of the game:

How did you find the Enjoyable Ma’am

activity?
Very good!

How did you perform the We follow the order and

activity? we cooperate to each
other.
Alright!
B.DEVELOPMENTAL ACTIVITIES:

 Presentation of the I have here a box and a ball.

Lesson 3
Now, class how many boxes
are there in all?

Very good!
5
How many balls are there in
each box?

Alright!
15
How many balls are there in
all?
( 3 x 5)= 15
What multiplication facts/
sentence can we give or
write?

Very good!

This means there are 5 balls

in each box and there are 3
boxes in all.

What division
Facts/ sentences can we (15÷ 3)= 5
give or write?

Very Good!

This means 15 balls divided

equally in 3 boxes equals 5
balls in each box or 15 balls
divided equally with 5 balls
in each 3 box.

Alright, this morning we will

be tackling about the basic
division facts/sentences of
number.

 ANALYSIS I have here

Multiplication tables but
before that I will group you
into 5 groups. I want you to
study and complete the
table and give me at least 1
division sentence.

Now, based on your activity multiplication facts,
how did you get the division then we able to get the
facts/ sentences? division facts.

Alright, very good!

 ABSTRACTION Let’s have another example;
I have here a wholefamily of
multiplication and division
facts. I want you to listen
carefully because I will be
giving an activity right after
this.
Yes, ma’am
Do you understand?

8 x 7 7 x 8 56÷7=8
= 56 = 56
20 x 5 5x20 100÷5
=100 = 100 = 20
8 x 6 6 x 8 48 ÷ 6
= 48 = 48 =8

How did I get the division

facts/ sentences? By
knowing first the
multiplication facts we can
give the division facts. As
you can see the division
facts are the inverse of the
multiplication facts.

Do you understand? Yes ma’am

Any question? None teacher Juvy

With the same group I want

you to answer the following
question

Give the product and write

your answer on the chart.

1. 5 x 7 =___, __÷__ 1. 5 x 7 = 35, 35 ÷ 7

=___ or __÷__=__ = 5 or 35÷ 5 = 7

2. 3 x 9 =__,__÷__=__ 2. 3 x 9 = 27, 27÷3=

Or __÷__=__ 9 or 27 ÷ 9 = 3
3. 8 x 6 =__, __÷__=__ 3. 8 x 6 = 48 , 48 ÷
Or __÷__=__ 6 =8 0r 48 ÷ 8 = 6

In our activity a while ago,

how do you demonstrate
teamwork skills? You need to help and
cooperate in your
groupmates.

Very Good!

In order to have good result

during the activity you need
to help and cooperate to
your group mates or the
members of your group
should cooperate.

I want you to get a sheet of

paper and answer the
missing division facts.

3. 48 ÷__= 8 3. 6
4. __÷10 = 7 4. 70
5. 5√15 5. 3

C.APPLICATION Since you already know how

to state a multiplication
facts & division facts.
Choose 5 members among
your groups to be your
representative. I want you
to answer the missing
multiplication and division
facts .

÷ 6 = 6 36 ÷ 6 = 6
6 x 6 = 6 x 6 = 36
9 x 2 = 9 x 2 = 18
÷ 6 = 3 18 ÷ 6 = 3
5 x 5 = 5 x 5 = 25
÷ 6 = 6 36 ÷ 6 = 6
6 x 6 = 6 x 6 = 36
9 x 2 = 9 x 2 = 18
÷ 6 = 3 18 ÷ 6 = 3
5 x 5 = 5 x 5 = 25

÷ 6 = 6 36 ÷ 6 = 6
6 x 6 = 6 x 6 = 36
9 x 2 = 9 x 2 = 18
÷ 6 = 3 18 ÷ 6 = 3
5 x 5 = 5 x 5 = 25

IV-EVALUATION Answer the following. Write

the division sentences in
your notebook.

1. Give the division 1. 18÷ 3=6 , 18÷ 6=3

sentence of 6 x 3 =
18
2. Use 5, 4 & 20 in 2. 5 x 4= 20, 4 x 5 =20,
multiplication 20÷ 5= 4 , 20÷ 4 = 5
sentence and division
sentences.
3. Write the missing 3. 3
division sentence 36
÷___=12
