Grand Canyon University Administration:

I am writing this letter on behalf of Ms. Jasmine Moon, secondary Social Studies teacher at Calvin M.
Rodwell Elementary/Middle School. Through this I would like to convey my complete
understanding of the importance of the student teaching component in acquiring a Master’s degree
for any level of education.

Moreover, I would also like to express my approval of Ms. Moon’s usage of her classes/classroom
for her student teaching component. Additionally, there will not be any task required by Ms. Moon
as an instructor that will hinder the ability to successfully complete her student teaching. It will
however, increase her depth of understanding and application, as well as being more reflective in
her practice.

Also, with the assistance of Ms. Moon’s assigned teacher mentor: Ms. Tracey Harrison-Jones, the
leadership team at Calvin Rodwell also expect observe her growth, development, and success as a
valued member of our school community.
