COVER LETTER

Dear Sir/Madam,

Please accept this letter and the accompanying resume as an expression of my interest in a job opportunity with
your company.

As my resume indicated, I have more than 6 years of experience in Construction and Project Delivery Gained
through site-based assignments in Mega Sized Oil and Gas Projects in GCC area.

I started my career after receiving a B.A degree in mechanical engineering from Birzeit University in June-2013
with a cumulative average of 83%. Accordingly, I have been selected to Join Consolidated Contractors
International Company (CCC) in a position of Junior Piping Engineer. In September 2013, I had been assigned in
Wasit Gas Power Plant Project in Saudi Arabia for 1 year where I got the opportunity to work in piping
Fabrication Shop for about 6 months and then allocated to Sulfur Loading area to complete Erection, welding and
Hydrostatic Testing Activities.

On October 2014, I had been selected to join Petrofac international limited company in Sharjah - UAE through
Petrofac Academy Program. Where I decided to join project controls department and got a site-based planning
Engineer assignment in BP- Khazzan Project in Oman for 9 Months. I had the opportunity to develop a Progress
Measurement System (PMS), L-4 Schedule along with Manpower Histogram for a $ 1.2 Billion Central Processing
Facility. I have practically developed my skills in Resources allocation, Manhours distribution and critical path
identification. Moreover, working for Planning department had refined my abilities to prepare Progress Reports,
S-curves, Commodity status and mitigation plans.

June -2015, I had the Opportunity to Join Construction Department in Kuwait as a Mechanical Construction
Engineer. I had been allocated in GC-29 Project and assigned for Steel Fabricated Tanks Package. Where I have
acquired technical experience in Steel Plates Fabrication, Rolling, Erection, Welding, NDT, and Coating. Moreover,
I have been in charge to coordinate the Client’s Mechanical Completion Walkdowns and manage Final Tank Box-
up and Completions Certificates. I have been demobilized on April-2018 to Joint a New Gathering Center Project
(CG-32) in South East Kuwait.

Currently, I’m Acting Mechanical Lead for Site Fabricated Tanks Package. Where I had initially Completed the
technical Evaluation for Subcontractors’ Tenders and performed regular Troubleshooting and Engineering
Reviews. Moreover, I developed a Macro Programmed System to control Free Issued Material Delivery and to
drive plates fabrication activities. Besides, I had been able to develop level 4 Schedule along with equipment -
Manpower histograms. I’m fully in charge for official correspondences, Subcontractor management and
responsibility Matrix follow-up.

With the diversified expertise acquired in Oil and Gas Construction, Project Delivery, Planning and Subcontracts,
I’m confident in my abilities to perform adeptly and deliver effectively beyond expectations.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I am looking forward to your response.

Sincerely,
