CURRENT JOB

Working in M/s. LITWIN PEL L.L.C., Abu Dhabi, UAE a subsidiary company of LAMPRELL Group, as
a Piping Design Engineer from FEB 2013 to Present.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Review and execute the contract requirements for the project execution, organize the preparation of
the Technical Deliverable Register (TDR), identify requirements and scope of work, pipe wall
thickness calculations, review Piping Material Specifications, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams,
Plot plans, General Arrangement drawings, Layout drawings and Isometrics.
Supervises a team of designers/draughts men and coordination with CADD Supervisor in carrying
out piping layout, detailed engineering work by ensuring the responsibility for conceptual and
detailed design of oil and gas projects.
Ensures the achievement of assigned goals, the fulfillment of the project quality requirements and the
contractual obligations by enduring the accepted project deliverable plans.
Verifies scope of work, budgeted man hours, budgeted quantities, project deliverables, format of
delivery, time schedules, drawings, documents as per the required standards.
Maintains the project schedules, ensure allotted man hours, deadlines are strictly adhered to.

Design co-ordination with other disciplines, clients, construction groups and vendors, provides the
response to the queries from construction site, fabrication yards.
Co-ordination, control and supervision of all design engineering and materials control work carried
out for the project by the piping designers.
Delivering the information/inputs to design team after doing pre-engineering site visits.
Preparation of Site Visit Reports and issue of Technical Clarification/Query to Clients.
Capable of handling multiple or difficult tasks with limited supervision, can resolve customer
comments and areas of non-conformance with supervision.
Assistance to the project engineer in the planning and development of the project and the piping
layout discipline engineering documents, engineering schedules, budgets and the continuous
monitoring of these documents.
Review and checking of piping isometrics, MTO and material specifications.
Conducts the 3D PDMS/PDS Model Reviews (30%, 60% & 90% Review) for the projects using
SPR & Navisworks.
Highlighting the technical and contractual issues to the management pertaining to piping.
Evaluates and pursue design changes initiated within the discipline and initiated by others.
Monitors and reports actual progress including 3D check for discipline activities, including control of
man-hours and delivered documents.
Supervises the modeling works in PDS/PDMS, ensuring that isometrics are updated as per revised
process requirement.
Supervises the preparation and evaluation of plot plans, engineering drawings and technical
documents issued for Internal Design Checks, Clash Checks and co-ordination.
Vendor Document Reviews, Model Design Reviews and solving the encountered tags commented by
the Client for the successful completion of the project.
Attends vendor meetings, internal review activities and inter-discipline check meetings.
Ensures technical adequacy of engineering and design consistent with economy, good engineering
practice and safety in design, Company Quality Management System and specific requirement of the
project.
Ensures compliance with the prescribed Company, Clients, International Standards and Local
Statutory regulations.
Delivering the efficient hard work, good communication and co-ordination during the tenure.
