FORMAT OF SEMINAR REPORT

1. The body of the whole report has to be in TIMES NEW ROMAN font, with size 12.
(Except for the Cover Page, Acknowledgement, Main & Sub Headings - here the
font size and font type will vary.)
2. The body of the report should have one & a half line gap, justified on both the sides,
typed in TIMES NEW ROMAN ONLY.
3. Margins: 1.5”on the left and 1”on all other sides.
4. The Main Heading should be in size 16 (bold, not underlined), sub heading should
be in size 14 (bold, not underlined).
5. Use of words like I/We/Our is not allowed in the report. The whole report should be
in ‘third person’, like “The Research”.
6. The fonts and the font sizes given in the format should strictly be maintained.
7. The content of the report should be between 20 to 30 pages
8. All reports should carry the following: ( in the order mentioned below) (formats of
each of these are annexed below):
 Inside Cover Sheet - (same format to be used for the cover page also) (A1)
 Declaration from the student stating the originality of the report (A2)
 Acknowledgement in the order: External Support, Management & Principal
of the Institute, HOD, Internal Guide and others if you want to name any.
 Table of Contents (A3)
 List of Tables, if any (A4)
 List of Visuals, if any (A5)
 Executive Summary - all TIMES NEW ROMAN - 1.5 lines gap
 Body of the report
 Bibliography – APA Format
 Annexure (if any)
