‘’Prospect evaluation and geology
modelling of X field’’ is the project title
which has assigned by Mr Epo
Prasetya Kusmah, S.T, M.Sc as being
held in project integration classes.
This task was taken in order to do
volumetric calculation in X field
reservoir using wells data including
C2 and C3 horizons which have
potential of hydrocarbon prospect.

The North Belut Field was part of a
transitional succession that evolved
from isolated rift basins to
widespread shallow marine
conditions (since Eocene time).

The accumulation is characterized by

sands deposited in fluvio-deltaic
environments within the Udang and
Gabus Formations.
Paleogeography

in the early Miocene, deposition was dominated by the

CONCLUSIONS
• Based on facies interpretation, the area of
interest is terrestrial region with orientation of
direction is Nothwest-Southeast. This
interpretation is considered by looking at
regional geology of the area from references
that shows the direction of depositional
environment is NW-SE.
• From Gamma Ray log interval, there are 3
phase of changes deposition which indicated
there was sea level changes occured during
the phase.
• Based on interpretation using facies, the
logging interval also shows us about this
reservoir region contains hydrocarbon.
• The largest STOIIP is in zone 1A-1B.
