PROPOSAL

WATER AND MOLD DAMAGE

Removal*
Description of Work

Kitchen Area
1. Install 6 mil plastic sheeting secured with tape in two sections of the kitchen from ceiling to
floor, to closing it off from the rest of the house. One section behind the sink area and another
section in front of the sink area, extending to the adjacent walls. There will be a centralized
neutral zone between the above described sections for decontamination use by employees to
ensure proper mold removal techniques are adhered to.
2. Tightly cover all appliances and cabinets with 6 mil plastic and tape.
3. Cover and seal all flooring in kitchen with hardboard paper and plastic, secured with tape.
4. Cut out sections of sheetrock on ceiling and walls where necessary to determine the amount of
water and mold damage. This will expose the upstairs master bath subfloor as well.
5. Remove light fixtures and upper cabinets where necessary to determine decontamination and
reinstallation versus replacement.
6. Remove all contaminated and damaged areas; this includes sheetrock, studs, joists, etc.
Note: Any contaminated materials that we are unable to remove will be treated with an
antimicrobial agent then will be left to dry. Once dry they will be coated with a sealer.

Upstairs Master Bath

1. Install 6 mil plastic sheeting secured with tape from ceiling to floor, closing off the bath area
from the closet and bedroom.
2. Tightly cover tub and all cabinets with 6 mil plastic and tape.
