JAZZ CHANTS 2019

MECHANICS OF THE CONTEST

1. Contestants are from Senior High School Students (Grade 11 & 12) of
Benigno “Ninoy” S. Aquino High School only.
2. The piece to be used in the final performance is prepared (Prepared
Piece) to be given by EPC Officers.
3. Minimum and maximum of 15 contestants only (inclusive of one drum
player)
4. The warm up piece must be local based.
5. The presentation must only last from 5 to 7 minutes including the entance
and exit.
6. The costumes to be used should be appropriate to the piece.
7. No props allowed.
AWARDS/ RECOGNITION

1. During the first half of the contest, final five (5) winners will be recognized,
and will receive a certificate of recognition.
2. Participants who will bag the second and third prize will receive a medal
and a certificate of merit, while the first prize winner will be declared the
Jazz Chants 2019 Champion- BNAHS and will receive a medal, and a
certificate of distinction.
3. Special awards like the Best in Costume, People’s Choice Award, Best
Voice Presentation will also be accorded by the club.
4. All participants will receive a certificate of appreciation.
