Fitness Trends in the Middle East

Fitness of the body is a very important thing as it keeps you healthy and active. Nowadays fitness
has also become a sort of a symbol of status. There are a number of things (wardrobe) that are
new in the market especially in the Middle-East but they require a fit body to wear. There are
some exercises that have been used from ages and are very effective. These exercises are being
practiced from ages but in the modern time the Middle East especially UAE and Dubai have also
become aware of these fitness trends. Here are some of the fitness exercises that are recently
introduced in the Middle East especially by the women.
Barre exercise
The barre exercise has become very famous especially among the women as it helps them to get
their body in a perfect shape and look perfect in the modern fitness world. The barre exercise is
mainly derived from the exercise done by the ballerinas. The most important thing about this
exercise is that it is very difficult but when doing it you don’t sweat a lot. Many barre exercise
franchises are being opened in the UAE and Dubai and people are getting aware of it day by day.
Spin or cycling exercise
Spin exercise is also getting very popular nowadays as it help you to burn more than 500 calories
in just 30-35 minutes. This exercise is originally derived from the famous sport of cycling. This
exercise is very effective and not that difficult to do.
Kangoo shoes exercise
Kangoo shoes exercise is also a very effective way to burn the calories and in less time. The
concept of Kangoo shoes is taken from the animal kangaroo. They are specially designed with
springs that are oval in shape and the shoes look like roller skates. All you have to do is to wear
these shoes and jump up and down like a kangaroo, I know it sounds dangerous but believe me it
is really easy and safe, with a lit bit of practice you can master it. The Kangoo shoes are also
useful for the joints. The women in UAE and Dubai are even buying their own Kangoo shows
and doing exercise with it in parks and jogging tracks.
Pilates exercise
The Pilates exercise is being used since around the year 1960 and has now become very famous
in the Middle East. Pilates is an exercise in which you move almost every muscle of your body
and you also learn how to control your movements. It helps is relaxing and contracting the
muscles which results in giving the people a fit and perfect body. This is a favorite exercise for
the women as it makes them sweat less and does not ruin their hair.
Boxing exercise
Boxing is a very old sport and is being played from many years. People had a view that it was
only for the people who play the sport but that’s not completely true. Boxing workout or exercise
is being used as a source of workout from many years and its influence is also increasing in the
Middle East especially UAE and Dubai. The men are very interested in giving their bodies a fit
and perfect shape and are doing all the workouts of a boxer. Boxing elevates the blood flow in
the veins, helps in sharpening the mind and also to make a perfectly shaped body. It is also the
workout of the whole body and it makes you feel stonger.
