Experimental Study of Cavitating & Non-Cavitating flow past a Sharp-edged Triangular Wedge | M.S.
Project, IIT Madras (June’15-July’18)
• CFD simulation carried out in ANSYS-Fluent to know boundary layer separation & reattachment,
different zone of cavitation within flow domain due to facing step & its casual effects.
• Experimental analysis carried out with cavitation water tunnel setup to understand cavitating flow
features using PIV/LDV measurements & High-speed imaging also carried out to get different
cavitating structures in relation to shear layer vortices.
Design & Analysis of Pure Iron Casting with Different Moulds | B.E. Project, BIT Durg (Jan’15-June’15)

• Transient thermal analysis carried out in ANSYS to predict temperature & thermal stress distribution in
the casting after solidification using different moulds & do the optimization study.
