TERMS AND CONDITIONS: -

Payment terms & Price Escalation:

• All payments should be made by Account Payee cheques or DD in favour of Our Courier &
Logistics Services (I) Pvt. Ltd.
• In case, the customer is paying GST, customer’s GST Registration number is required and further a copy of
GST Registration Certificate will have to give to “OUR”.
• In the event of any hike in input costs, like vehicle operational cost, statutory levies etc. during the contract
period, “OUR” Courier & Logistics shall have the right to revise the rates in consultation with
the party.

• Volumetric Weight: L x B x H (cm) ÷ 5000 = Kg.

Liability Clause:

• The shipment will move at carrier’s risk. In the unforeseen event / act of God, If any damage pilferage,
shortage etc. occurs, “OUR” Courier & Logistics liability will be limited to issuing a Certificate
of Facts / Observation Note to the customer only.

Terms of carriage:

• In case of any disputes the terms & conditions mentioned in the consignment note shall only be valid.

• If the Invoice value is more than Rs. 50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand) then E-Waybill is required.
• Shipments which are undelivered due to reasons beyond the control of “OUR” Courier &
Logistics and being “Returned to origin (RTO)” at the request of the shipper will be billed to the
shipper as per contractual rate.
• “OUR” Courier & Logistics will not be responsible for delays arising out of factors beyond its
control such as technical snags, strikes, riots, accidents, disruption in communication due to fog, landslide
etc.
• Govt. duties, taxes and other charges are to be borne by the shipper / consignee and have to be paid
separately as and when applicable.
• In case of detention of the shipment by any statutory for any reason “OUR” Courier &
Logistics will extend its support and it is the responsibility of the customer to get the release order.
Customer will provide all required documents for smooth transportation of the material.

Claim Procedure: -

• In the unforeseen event of any damage or loss the necessary investigation / survey will be conducted by
“OUR” Courier & Logistics in co-ordination with consignor / consignee and Observation Note
will be issued to enable the consignor claim the loss from their insurers.
• IN CASE OF ANY LOSS, DAMAGE, SHORTAGE “OUR” Courier & Logistics WILL ONLY ISSUE
THE OBSERVATION NOTE.
PROHIBITED ARTICLES: -

The following items are unacceptable for carriage by “OUR” Courier & Logistics.

• Firearms, parts thereof and ammunition.

• All Dangerous Goods as defined by IATA.
• Corpses, cremated or disinterred remains.
• Foodstuffs/Perishables (Food and beverages requiring refrigeration or other environmental control)
• Gambling Devices: Lottery tickets and gambling devices prohibited by national, provincial, state, local law
• Live animals and plants
• Money (Coins, Cash currency, Paper money and Negotiable Instruments.
• Pornographic material.
• Radio-active Materials.
• Any shipment which would be likely to cause damage, or delay to equipment, personnel or other
shipments.
• Any item whose carriage is prohibited by any law, statute or regulations of the country of origin or
destination, or of any country through which the shipment may transit.
