INTRODUCTION

Earth-based shamanism taps into the collective consciousness

through the natural world. We all have the capacity to develop this
relationship, although as with any other skill it must be honed and
practiced. This connection can take you as deep as you choose to go,
and it will show you as much as you choose to see.

The Universal Mind Oracle was inspired by, and through, this
intimate relationship to the Earth. These cards beckon you to engage
the spirit of Nature and recognize Universal Consciousness as an
infinite force where Truth resides. When our intuition is activated
we are able to access the realm of Truth in every moment.

I | INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION

WELCOME
I go through phases of neuroticism, sometimes rather dark.
Then again, we all do. To anyone who doesn’t acknowledge
your shadow aspects: you’re cheating yourself.

We are supposed to be intense. It is our wild nature.

If we can’t allow ourselves to be intense sometimes, we are

certainly murdering the passion in our lives. Nonetheless, it
does a person no good to search for others who might
understand her intensity, her shadow. The moment one thinks
she/he understands herself, some new phenomenon will be
introduced and a new cycle of self-reflection will be stimulated.
Every circumstance presents us with opportunities to learn, to
look at ourselves, to grasp how we relate to things and people,
to consider how we are Universally interconnected, to sense our
multidimensionality. Such evaluative processes (searching,
wanting to know more) make room for enlightenment to occur,
through the seeking. As your mind opens, you become more
willing to be wrong, to accept your Shadow, to completely
change your mind, to start from a new beginning a thousand
times if need-be, to express your True nature, to recognize and
honor Higher Truth while your perception goes on evolving
(and evolving).

CARD INTERPRETATIONS

To complement this deck as a ritualistic

divination tool, I suggest purchasing a special
journal to write your own definitions for each
card. Secondly, it is highly recommended to
spend as much time as needed with each card that
is pulled. We are in such a rush to find answers,
but sometimes the answers we seek are more
subtle, with soft and slow emergence. I sometimes
spend weeks meditating on a single card in order
to fully integrate messages from Spirit. Give
yourself permission to slow down. Third, this deck is
not intended to be used predictively, but rather to
connect you more wholly with Source Energy.
The Universal Mind is a tool for workings of
Light and Shadow, for spellcrafting, for prayer,
for support, and for transformation.

Single card pulls from this deck are excellent to

use as clarification cards when working with
other Tarot decks.

The card interpretations I have provided in this

book are drawn from the Wisdom of The
Mysterious Beyond; of Stars and Sky, of Field and
Stream, of Forest and Crows, of mentors, friends,
experiences, and of my own intuitions in this life,
past lives, and future lives.

Prepare now to enter the fabric…

II | card interpretations
01 | synchronicity

Synchronicity is at work when unlikely patterns or “significant

coincidences” start to consistently appear in our lives. Noticing these
synchronicities is a sign that we are growing more in tune with Universal
Mind. Confucius said that, “ignorance is the night of the mind --- a night
without a moon by which to clearly see.” The symbol of the Full Moon
invites you to reflect deeper on these obscured messages, for the Universe is
working to communicate something important to you through
synchronicity. It can be almost surreal in these moments where we feel
ourselves as part of the whole.

Keywords: Awareness, Confirmation. Metatron, Full Moon, Truth Revealed

Crystals: Selenite, Celestite
Essential Oils: Myrrh, Lemongrass
Element: Ether

01
02 | acceptance

The cycles in our lives ebb and flow like the ocean, sometimes gently and
other times ferociously. When we accept what is, we become better
equipped to maneuver through obstacles and challenges. Acceptance of Self
and others helps us revise our judgments and live from a space of loving
kindness. Acceptance allows us to move far beyond acknowledgement and
places us in step with the cycles, helping us consciously accept the flow of
the Universe. The Universe is not meant to be mild; it is wild and we are not
meant to escape its wildness. We become freer and less fearful when we
embrace the storms as they pass through, when we do not become attached
to neither suffering nor joy, when we view all experience as impermanent.
The first and third quarter moon (half moon) brings with it the energy of
fine-tuning, but without acceptance our actions are stalled. The half moon
calls us to work with what we have in this moment.

Keywords: Humility, Understanding, Graciousness, Growth, Half Moon

Crystals: Rose Quartz, Lepidolite
Essential Oils: Geranium, Vetiver
Element: Water

02
03 | energetic shift

The days leading up to the New Moon are wonderful to reflect and get clear
on what your intentions are before the new cycle begins; whereas the
energy following the New Moon is all about restoration, inspiration, new
ideas, and a fresh start. This card calls you to explore how you are affected
by your surroundings. It encourages you to explore how your energy shifts
as you move through different situations, or interact with different kinds of
people. Sometimes unexpected shifts will require you to be swift and
gracious when it comes to adapting your actions, approach, mindset, and
perspective.

Keywords: Intention, Rest, Preparation, Ritual, New Beginnings

Crystals: Lepidolite, Moonstone
Essential OIls: Frankincense, Cypress, Juniper Berry
Element: Earth

03
04 | believe

When we make the choice to believe in something, we begin to notice

limitless possibility! Through long stretches of desert we become
dangerously dehydrated, but the belief that water is ever-available can lend
beauty, magick, color, and even vigor to an exhaustive situation such as this.
Universal Mind beckons you to push yourself further... and with longer
strides than ever before. Believing is a gift that can only be given to oneself,
from oneself. What is holding you back from giving yourself the gift of
believing at this time? What will change once you choose to believe in what
you are seeking?

Keywords: Worthiness, Visualization, Trust, Risk, Adventure

Crystals: Morion Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Labradorite
Essential Oils: Sandalwood, Patchouli
Element: Earth

04
05 | epiphany

Just like that --- the answer appears in your conscious awareness. This card
brings with it the energy of the sun which warms and illuminates a cold and
cracked expanse of Earth. Know that the sun is always available to energize
and support you along your journey. This card marks the kind of
realization which gives significance to everything that has lead up to this
point. Now is the time to make sense of things, to set things right, to
celebrate, to extend gratitude, or to conclude a situation with confidence. It
can be helpful to you now to spend extra time in the sunshine, which can
assist you with energizing Manipura, the Solar Plexus chakra.

Keywords: Empowerment, Understanding, Conclusion, Realization,

Certainty, Solar Plexus
Crystals: Herkimer, Selenite
Essential Oils: Frankincense, Grapefruit
Element: Fire

05
06 | mindfulness

Mindfulness is, ultimately, conscious awareness of one’s own awareness.

Through mindfulness we are able rise above situations, actions, thoughts, or
experiences in order to observe them without judgment. There are many
things in this life which distract us from developing our awareness in such
an intentional way; technology, work, and day-to-day responsibilities can
begin to dominate our sense of awareness when we are not taking an active
role in practicing mindfulness. Mindfulness opens us up to become more
compassionate, more mature, more communicative, and more enlightened
beings. Creating a regular meditative practice can help you sustain a more
mindful way of living.

Keywords: Meditation, Compassion, Non-Judgment, Attention,

Communication, Calm
Crystals: Smoky Quartz, Obsidian, Lapis Lazuli
Essential Oils: Cedarwood, Lavender, Juniper Berry
Element: Air

06
07 | safe passage

Sometimes the Universe presents us with a set of options, and the best way
forward seems unclear. Other times, we know exactly which way we want to
go, yet fear of the unknown paralyzes us with a sense of entrapment. The
energy of this card is all about the many contexts which surround word
“safe”. When we choose to “play it safe”, we miss out on opportunities to
discover and grow. Trying out a new direction might feel uncomfortable at
first, but can turn out to be just what you need in the end. Spending time in
the forest is recommended as a natural way to revitalize your energetic
body. Being near (or literally sitting on) the roots of trees can help to
ground and center you at this time, and will activate Muladhara --- the Root
Chakra --- to strengthen your spiritual and emotional foundation.

Keywords: New Direction, Comfort Zone, Grounding, Confidence, Root

Chakra
Crystals: Amethyst, Moonstone
Essential Oils: Cedarwood, Cypress, Patchouli, Vetiver
Element: Earth

07
08 | be love

“The heart is not only a place where we realize love, but it is also an integral part of
our higher identity. To awaken the heart is to awaken an essential aspect of our very
existence. Therefore, our evolution into the heart has to be directly connected to the
process of our awakening as our complete self. Its energy dimension is a doorway to
the inside of the heart. When our heart is realized and we merge with the source of
love, we arrive at the place of unconditional fulfillment.” - Anadi

To exist together with the energy of love, the heart must open. In order for
the heart to become fully activated, it must coexist with the soul. When this
happens, a new kind of reality comes through us and transforms our
experience. Like the children playing under the waterfall in this magickal
cave of wonders, when we become love we invite this kind of world to exist
within ourselves from which to manifest in our external world. Taking a trip
to explore caves or caverns can help you identify with those parts of your
inner self which have yet to be fully understood. Spending time near a
waterfall can connect you to feelings of purification and gratitude.

Keywords: Anahata (Heart Chakra), Consciousness, Fulfillment, Abundance,

Rebirth
Crystals: Rose Quartz, Green Aventurine, Rhodonite
Essential Oils: Spearmint, Rosemary. Eucalyptus
Element: Water

08
09 | purpose \ duty

Universe calls you to consider the deeper purpose of your present

endeavors. Soon you will be enlightened to a richer sense of value toward
what you invest yourself into. You are ready. You are rising to a new level of
duty towards self and others which can only be satisfied by embracing your
true nature.

Keywords: Service, Career, Exploration, Intention, Honor, Perseverance

Crystals: Howlite, Clear Quartz, Natural Citrine
Essential Oils: Ginger, Thyme, Cinnamon
Element: Fire

09
10 | less is more

This card invites you to experience the abundance that is available to us all.
The first step is to let go of attachments. When we focus on what we don’t
have, we start to take for granted that our most basic needs are already being
met. Coming back to gratitude for what we have right now is the best way to
open ourselves up more fully to the flow of true abundance. When we
choose to live life with less clutter and less of the things that aren’t serving
our greatest good… we find that suddenly we are able to create more time,
to experience life’s simple joys, and to manifest more abundance in this life
than we can even conceive of!

Keywords: Generosity, Minimalism, Abundance, Decluttering, Foraging,

Wildflowers
Crystals: Amazonite, Green Calcite, Ruby
Essential Oils: Spikenard, Clove, Orange
Element: Earth

10
11 | roots \ branches

In Winter, the trees have shed their leaves to reveal their intricate, unique
shapes and forms. The roots continue to support the structure of a tree
through all seasons and all weather conditions. At times, branches will need
to be pruned. Some branches may even break in the wind or simply fall
when they are ready. A tree's natural grooming process provides many uses;
fallen branches can be used to kindle a fire or create artwork; fallen leaves
insulate the soil and protect the roots, and piles of collected leaves offer
children moments of joy and laughter. Looking at the bare bones, we
intuitively connect to the entire story of a tree through its four seasons. A
tree's essence shows us strength, resilience, and transformation.

Keywords: Mirror, Stability, Root Tea, Grooming

Crystals: Black Tourmaline, Red Jasper, Aura Quartz
Essential Oils: Frankincense, Ginger
Element: Earth

11
12 | extend \ expand

This card calls you to tune into your Moon sign and explore the parts of
yourself which you don’t normally share with others. It is a reminder to
create a healthy balance between the inner and the outer, to nurture and
express the inner self, rather than disguising it. Perhaps inviting someone
into this part of yourself is the next step in a relationship or partnership.
Alternatively, it could be that now is the time to pause from public sharing
and take some extra time for creation, visualization, inspirational guidance,
or completion of projects. Where are you over-extending yourself? What
areas are calling you to be more expansive, open, or adventurous?

Keywords: Planning, Waning Moon, Independence, Walking Meditation

Crystals: Flourite, Green Calcite, Lapis Lazuli
Essential Oils: Peppermint, Juniper Berry, Naiouli
Element: Air

12
13 | sacred space

“We are not born into the Earth, we are borne out of the Earth.” - Chris Gruden

The Earth, our Home, is a Sacred Teacher. She shares Her wisdom and Her
beauty. She connects us to Her, and we find ourselves becoming more
connected through Her. Although Nature is the most effective sacred space
for spiritual work, it is important to designate a sacred space in your home
for spiritual, meditative, and magickal workings. This becomes a place
where you can create daily rituals and routines. This card signals you
commit to daily spiritual practice. Actions to consider: meditate on things
you are grateful for, create a daily journal practice, return to creative
projects that set your soul on fire, purge unnecessary material objects, refine
your collection of spiritual tools or foster a more consistent working
relationship with them.

Keywords: Reorganizing, Decluttering, Candles, Gratitude, Ritual Work,

Meditation
Crystals: Tangerine Quartz, Lumerian Quartz, Celestite
Essential Oils: Myrrh, Thyme, Sandalwood, Rose
Element: Air

13
14 | detox

Now is an excellent time for rituals of release; letting go of old ways of

thinking, being, feeling, or acting which are toxic to the mind-body-spirit. It
is also a signal to incorporate more pure, spring water into your daily diet.
There is a need to work with both Svadhisthana (Sacral Chakra) and
Vishuddha (Throat Chakra) together so energy can travel more fluidly
throughout your chakra system, thus strengthening the subtle body.
Consider incorporating ritual bath teas, connecting with wild plantlife, or
meditating in the ran or near water.

Keywords: Cleanse, Release, Strengthen, Restore, Hydrate, Exercise, Sacral

Chakra, Throat Chakra
Crystals: Lepidolite, Natural Citrine, Aquamarine, Selenite, Herkimer
Essential Oils: Lime, Oregano, Rosemary, Ylang Ylang, Cinnamon
Element: Ether

14
15 | the lesson

Instead of analyzing the details, what is the essence --- the theme or lesson to
be realized? Crow is here to guide you into flight as you emerge from deep
waters. This can be like a transition from water to air… what is evaporating?
This is a time where mind and emotions are recognizably separate yet can
feel entangled, signaling that you might be resisting change. Crow beckons
you to explore the subconscious mind or astral realm, to take a look at
ancient wisdom or teachings on a pressing issue, or to explore
past and future life experiences for the purpose of integrating them into
your present situation. What message do you need to heed? Crow can
confirm a warning that you have been anticipating on an intuitive level.
Work with Ajna (Third-Eye opening) using guided meditation or sound.
Suggested practice: Close your eyes, and enter into the imagery of the card.
Meditate on how your physical body feels in this space, and listen for the
message Crow has for you.

Keywords: Listen, Transition, Superficial, Third-eye Chakra, Insight

Crystals: Amethyst, Angelite, Lepidolite, Kyanite, Kunzite
Essential Oils: Vetiver, Arborvitae, Lavender, Frankincense
Element: Water

15
16 | experience dawn

Twilight, those moments before the sunrise --- this is the time when the
world looks different…

The build-up to a magical, elusive display of emerging sunlight produces a

kaleidoscope of color. Rebirth. That precious hour before sunrise is
powerful for setting intentions, crystal grid activation, connecting with
Source / Universe / Guides, and meditation. This card calls you to
experience dawn literally and figuratively, whenever possible. Feel the joy of
celebrating another day and witness yourself in co-creation with the
Universal Life Force energy.

Keywords: Joy, Vitality, Parenting, Between Worlds, Rebirth, Preparedness,

Punctuality
Crystals: Opal Aura Quartz, Garnet, Gold Calcite, Moonstone, Natural
Citrine
Essential Oils: White Fir, Clary Sage, Basil, Lemongrass
Element: Fire

16
17 | layers

Each layer is unique apart from the whole; we are continuously making
adjustments, removing old layers, and adding new layers. All living beings
are made up of many layers; an outer protective “shell,” the main “body,”
and then the essence or “core.” We see this in everything from The Earth
(atmosphere, crust, core), to atoms (electrons, nucleus, protons / electrons),
to gigantic stars like our Sun (corona, chromosphere, radiative zone, core),
to our very own human bodies (aura, body, soul). From the outer shell all
the way through each layer and into the essence of a being, each layer acts as
its own entity with its own purpose and function. “The Whole” functions
most efficiently when all layers are acknowledged and their significance is
recognized.

Keywords: Aura, Seed, Trust, Opening, Boundaries, Higher Self, Heart

Chakra
Crystals: Smoky Herkimer, Selenite, Aragonite, Labradorite
Essential Oils: Cedarwood, Frankincense, Bergamot, Geranium
Element: Air

17
18 | i am \ mantra

When we live with intention our emotional, physical, and spiritual bodies
transform as a result. With consistent practice, we begin to shift and lift our
vibrational frequency. This means we are priming our energetic vibration
to resonate with the things we want to attract. You can take control over
your inner dialogue to create the life you want. Now is a good time to revise
your inner dialogue by stepping more fully into the Intuitive Self. What is
your power mantra in this moment? (For example, “I am
(blank) ”). What is not presently in alignment with your greater
purpose?

Keywords: Solar Plexus Chakra, Resonance, Illuminate, Follow Through,

Spells
Crystals: Green Aventurine, Amazonite, White Jade, Howlite
Essential Oils: Patchouli, Rose, Fennel, Lemongrass
Element: Air

18
19 | manifest

“All rests in the intention that you put into the gesture. Just making the gesture is
not sufficient.” - Luc Bourgault

Card 18 (I Am \ Mantra) brings the energy of recognizing the power we have

over the mind. This card, 19 | Manifest, is an extension of card 18. Now we
have matured in our understanding of how the process of taking control
actually works; we have established connection to the Higher Self and are
following our intuition almost instinctively. When the connection to our
Intuitive Self / Source / Universe / God is strong, we are ready to begin the
work of manifestation… that is --- setting energy into motion with a specific
outcome in mind.

Keywords: Visualize, Effort, Dream, Creation, Action, Harvest, Clarity,

Third-Eye Chakra
Crystals: Sapphire, Amethyst, Turquoise, Smoky Herkimer, Natural Citrine,
Onyx
Essential Oils: Lemon, Grapefruit, Ginger, Cardamom
Element: Ether

19
20 | commitment

When we commit to exercising any one practice --- consistently --- not only
do we discover our hidden gifts… we also learn that committed practice
contributes to our ongoing spiritual awakening. We continue to become
further enlightened by seeing our commitments
through. This strengthens our thoughts, actions, and decisions in all areas of
our lives. Our intuition is sharpened, our senses are enhanced, our
awareness of ourselves and others is elevated, our integrity is conditioned.

This is a card about the whole journey from start to finish and beyond. With
each phase of the journey, we grow more and more equipped to navigate
through relationships, situations, conflicts, and spiritual development.
Spider is a magnificent, tiny architect who builds many webs under many
conditions throughout her lifetime. Her ability to rebuild her home
whenever necessary speaks to the level of commitment that is required of
you now. It is time to go deeper into the direction that your Higher Self has
been beckoning you to go.

Keywords: Honor, Determination, Practice, Spiritual Practice, Root Chakra,

Follow-through, Focus
Crystals: Morion Quartz, Tiger’s Eye, Garnet, Lepidolite
Essential Oils: Cinnamon, Spikenard, Patchouli, White Fir
Element: Fire

20
21 | vulnerable

We might not recognize our strengths or understand how to use them until
some unexpected situation draws it out of us. Courage is found. To become
vulnerable does not suggest weakness. Awareness of one’s own vulnerability
is an opportunity to create change, for whenever life becomes
uncomfortable change awaits. Says Brene Brown, “The core of authenticity
is the courage to be imperfect, vulnerable, and to set boundaries.” It is time
to speak your truth, to face your fear. Rabbit brings the energy of being
alerted to his predators, asking you to let your fears fully surface so they can
be dissolved.

Keywords: Authenticity, Strength, Confront, Throat Chakra, Subconscious,

Shadow Work
Crystals: Moonstone, Labradorite, Azurite, Amazonite
Essential Oils: Frankincense, Rosemary, Peppermint
Element: Air

21
22 | journey

You are ready to rise to a new level, or perhaps you are witnessing your own
awakening; the process of awakening is never “finished”. Awakening is a
continuum, and to exist in an awakened state is to strive to maintain an
awareness of one’s own awareness. You are advancing, seeking to become
extraordinary in mind, body, and spirit. Notice what is in alignment, and
what is not. This is the card of ascension, of taking the journey into your
own hands, of knowing when to say “no,” of leaving behind the old, opening
yourself to new, taking care to genuinely live out your personal values. Your
actions always speak louder than the language of words. Choose to ascend,
to do the right thing always. To honor yourself in this way will set you free,
revealing your personal power to you. Others will notice. Some may
attempt to sabotage your efforts as a result. It is important to lead with your
intuition. Take up an experienced mentor if needed and let go of toxic
relationships. Stay true to your path. Spend time in the forest, particularly
around pine trees whenever possible over the next few weeks.

Keywords: Ascension, Astral Projection, Integration, Self Empowerment,

Travel, New
Crystals: Black Tourmaline, Opalite, Fire Agate, Flourite, Green Jasper
Essential Oils: Thyme, Ginger, Myrrh
Element: Fire

22
23 | details

Crystal frost on blades of grass, extending for miles.

Crystallised Earth.

Rare beauty. Not something that is given much thought or attention to. We
are living in a fast moving world with many distractions, and often miss out
on the miracle that is life, happening everywhere around us. This card can
signal us to take some time away from technology, to give our full attention
to projects, relationships, and commitments. When we become stuck in our
vision of the future, the present enters a state of disease.

“To live only for some future goal is shallow. When you’re no longer thinking ahead,
each step isn’t just a means to an end but a unique event in itself. It’s the sides of the
mountain which sustain life, not the top.” - Robert Pirsig

Keywords: Slow, Present, Patience, Appreciation, Natural Beauty, “Right

beneath your nose”
Crystals: Turquoise, Ruby in Zoisite, Snowflake Obsidian
Essential Oils: Lime, Basil, Cilantro, Marjoram, Eucalyptus
Element: Earth

23
24 | patterns \ systems

"The world is a confusing and turbulent place, but we make sense of it by

finding order. We notice the regular cycles of day and night, the waxing
and waning of the Moon and tides, and the recurrence of the seasons. We
look for similarity, predictability, regularity: those have always been the
guiding principles behind the emergence of science. We try to break down
the complex profusion of Nature into simple rules, to find order among
what might at first look like chaos. This makes us all pattern seekers."
----- Phillip Ball, from Patterns in Nature

Keywords: Crown Chakra, Finances, Contemplation, Examine, Order

Crystals: Howlite, Sea Salt, Labradorite
Essential Oils: Niaouli, Bergamot, Basil, Almond
Element: Water

24
25 | crystals

"To begin with, the first crystal with which you work, which you clean, polish, and
purify, must be yourself."
- Luc Bourgault

Before we begin our work with crystals, we must be sure that our intentions
are clear and our hearts are pure. Next we must take care to honor the
crystals we are working with as unique living beings, and to be cautious of
our human tendency to claim ownership over them. We must consider the
sacredness of crystals and preserve them as ancient teachers. Avoid wearing
crystals when you are in a lower vibrational state since the crystal can
amplify both high and low vibrations. Crystals remind us to always be
working on ourselves and show us the importance of consistent spiritual
cleansing, soul-purification, release, and setting clear intentions.

Keywords: Purification, Ritual Work, Crystal Grid, Meditation

Crystals: Consider the selection of a new crystal which calls to you
Essential Oils: Frankincense, Myrrh, Cypress, Rose
Element: Earth

25
26 | life giving nutrition

What changes can you make in your diet to honor your body? This card
suggests that increasing fruits, vegetables, and pure water will be a great help
to you now. Foods that come directly out of the Earth are the most healing
foods --- medicines --- we can offer our physical body. Flower essences,
herbal tinctures, herbal teas, local honeys, gardening, and even foraging for
wild foods are encouraged. This can be a great way to reconnect with the
Earth as well as improve your overall wellness. If you are not familiar with
wild foods in your area, consider taking a class or joining a group to explore
the life giving nutrition that is present all around you. If you've been feeling
tired or groggy, restless at night, or irritable this is often a sign that the
physical body is deficient in vitamins, minerals, proteins, or water. If you
are a parent this card is a reminder to encourage less processed foods in
your child's diet.

**Local farms, community gardens, and farmer's markets in your area can
be explored on localharvest.org.

Keywords: Gardening, Fruits and Vegetables, Hydration, Non-GMO, Local

Crystals: Carnelian, Natural Citrine, Amethyst, Tangerine Quartz
Essential Oils: Lemon, Cilantro, Grapefruit, Ginger
Element: Earth

26
27 | Spirit

It is time to explore our feelings about multidimensional beings, energetic

frequencies, nature spirits, or The Elements. Whatever you believe, now is
the time to recognize that you can choose to coexist with Spirit, for Spirit is
never separate from us, ever-present, limitless. In every moment, place, and
space, Spirit lives. When we choose to acknowledge this, our awareness
shifts. When we choose to ignore, we limit our awareness. Instead of waiting
on or searching for "guidance," know that The Divine is everywhere and in
everything... including you.

If needed, pull an extra card to inquire: What is interfering with your

relationship to The Beyond?

Keywords: Energy, Astral Realm, Nature, Divine

Crystals: Celestite, Selenite, Galena, Lilac Kunzite
Essential Oils: Sage, Sandalwood, Naiouli, Jasmine
Element: Ether

27
28 | healing \ chakras

Take care to heal now through some form of energetic rebalancing.

Meditate on this card by staring at the center of the card without focusing
on any one particular thing. Notice which flower your intuition is drawn to.
It could be a single flower or multiple flowers; these are likely the chakra
points requiring attention at this time. Consider taking extra time to rest,
expecially if the Moon is waning, and avoid any new commitments or
contracts until after the next New Moon. The best way to spend your time
now is to engage in bliss-inducing experiences that rejuvenate the soul.

Keywords: Reiki, Crystal Healing, Rest, Massage, Herbal Tea, Tincture

Crystals: Quartz, Amethyst, Citrine, Black Tourmaline, Smoky Quartz
Essential Oils: Frankincense, Lavender, Geranium, Palo Santo
Element: Ether

28
29 | unknown

"By replacing 'fear-of-the-unknown' with 'curiosity' we open ourselves up to an

infinite stream of possibility. We can let fear rule our lives or we can become
childlike with curiosity, pushing our boundaries, leaping out of our comfort zones,
and accepting what life puts before us."
- Alan Watts

This is it: the moment before you choose what you will do. In these kinds of
moments we sometimes seek protection or build walls, which really only
postpones our progress. Imagine having a look at the night sky back before
we knew what the stars were, witnessing the magic and mystery of the Vast
Unknown. Allowing ourselves to experience this kind of wonderment
moves us in the right direction, while overthinking distorts and confuses the
entire journey.

Keywords: Curiosity, Decision, Adventure, Travel or Relocation

Crystals: Black Tourmaline, Blue Lace Agate, Moldavite, Labradorite
Essential Oils: Marjoram, Vetiver, White Fir, Lemongrass
Element: Air

29
30 | start again

Step into the card and allow yourself to feel the emotional, physical, and
energetic responses you would have, standing on another planet looking
back at the Earth, your former home. Your bare feet touching the rocks on this
unfamiliar terrain. How the air feels. What it smells like. The temperature. What
you feel you should do first. What you are thinking. Meditate on this experience
for 5-10 minutes and continue to exercise this practice for the next 3-5 days.

This is what it feels like to start again... nostalgic, riveting, dream-like,

otherworldly, brand new. Whether this fresh start has been long awaited or

31 | keep going

When was the last time you visited a cave, or sat with a thunderstorm....
observing? Doing so connects us to Saturn, our planet known as The Great
Teacher. Saturn's influence can bring slow, steady emergence out of darker
more oppressive times. On a subconscious level, the challenges we accept
can strengthen our foundation piece by piece over time. This card speaks to
perseverance with common sense and acceptance of reality in mind. The
largest of Saturn's 62 confirmed Moons, Titan, is covered in lakes and seas
of liquid hydrocarbons, and each season lasts 7 Earth years --- conditions
which clearly would not support life as we know it here on Earth. Still, a few
scientists marvel at the idea of taking on a 7-year-long journey just to
experience such a mysterious place. Sometimes we must endure
tremendous suffering in order to complete a single mission, to advance to
the next level of our awareness. Important questions to journal about now
are: What is worth enduring? Where am I wasting resources? What must I leave
behind? What am I clinging to? Am I forcing my way forward or can I find a way
to work with these challenges instead of in collision with them? How does is the
present situation a reflection of myself? Am I being judgmental and if so, how can I
be more accepting? How can I empower myself in the face of challenge?

32 | inspiration \ study

Witnessing extraordinariness stimulates the senses; the physical body feels

"butterflies" and "goosebumps," the heart flutters, tears come to the eyes, the
spiritual body becomes full, the emotional body overflows, the mind is
guided by inspiration. When we focus on what produces this effect on our
being instead of focusing on the little things going wrong in our daily lives,
we rise. We begin to create, think, and express in alignment with The
Divine, and as a result grow more in tune with our inner Divinity. When we
recognize that we are Divine, we inspire others to find that spark within
themselves. We must follow what brings us to life and learn to trust it, to
celebrate it.

Rise. Create. Be.

Suggested visual meditation: create time in the near future to observe the
clouds for 15-30 minutes and follow it up with journaling.

33 | solar eclipse \ the unseen

Wolves represent family and unity, but here the lone wolf becomes a
symbol of freedom... reminding you that stepping fully into who you really
are will bring you gifts of freedom and strength. In doing so, you may find it
necessary to confront unresolved inner conflicts or aspects of the shadow
self.

It is important to consider how your presence and efforts contribute to the

whole of the Universe. Pause. Look within, but do not allow yourself to get
caught up in your inner work; seek to balance your inner workings
ritualistically so that you can integrate yourself to be fully present in your
service and communication with others. It is also recommended to avoid
travel plans if possible to focus on these matters. Pair this card with 05 |
epiphany and place them both on your altar to work with in ritual or
meditation over a period of 1-2 weeks.

34 | swamp

There may be a sense that you are unable to create movement, or that it
simply isn't possible to do things the way you want to at present. Taking a
closer look at the murky waters, you can notice beautiful light reflections on
the surface. Soften your focus as you gaze at these reflections of light, and
watch as the swamp begins to look like a beautiful abstract painting. What
messages or pictures do you see in these reflections? Rotate the card and
observe. Then meditate on the insights you notice and consider the deeper
meaning.

Remember that algae serves an important purpose under the right

conditions (it releases oxygen). Keep your home and work environment
energetically clear by smudging daily or whenever possible. It is time to
transform your environment to one that reflects the kind of person you
want to be, and the kind of life you want to live.

35 | quench

Let the rain wash over you now and quench your desires. If there is
something unsatisfied in your life it can suggest that shadow work is needed
in one of these areas:

*overcoming a sense of lack

*procrastination
*subconscious limiting beliefs or negative mental pattens
*unresolved or unexplored past life experiences

Journaling Ritual:

When the rain comes, how do you respond? Does it ruin your mood or do
you dance in the rain? How does rain feel on your skin? Irritating?
Refreshing? Light a white or green candle. Apply one of the oils suggested
below. Write down everything you can think of that the rain provides. Then
on a separate page write down everything you want or desire. On a third
page write down everything that is satisfying about your life. What do these
lists reveal to you about how you an alter your perspective or present
situation?

36 | naked

"If anything is sacred, the human body is sacred."

- Walt Whitman

In many tribal cultures, nakedness is honored without judgment. To be

naked is to be exposed, and how we handle the experience of our own
nakedness can be telling of what is going on within. When the culmination
of lifetimes of experience come together into a single moment of
nakedness... is it humiliating? Empowering? Hurtful? How we feel about
others' nakedness can also be an important mirror to ourselves.

You are called now to marry the energies of Jupiter (fire) together with the

Use your uniqueness to set yourself free. Certain situations or people will
challenge you when it comes to determining what to share, how to best
express yourself, or what you feel insecure about. Other times you will be
the one in the spotlight, challenging others around you in the same way.
This card can suggest: standing in your own Truth, encouraging someone
else to stand in theirs, supporting someone who has recently stepped into
their personal power, letting go of someone who sabotages your pursuits, or
bringing your uniqueness to a team environment in cooperation with
others.

38 | giver

Trees communicate with one another, transporting nutrients through

intricate underground root systems that become interlinked through fungal
threads, or mycellium. These "Mother Trees" are able to recognize their own
seedlings and tend to favor them, sending nutrients through the dense
mycellium highways to help their youth grow into strong, resilient adult
trees. Such communication enriches the forest and its root systems. It is a
gift to experience the presence of these Giving Trees; we can sense their
wisdom, experience, and life-sustaining vibrations. When we become like
these loving nurturers, we enrich the planet while at the same time
enriching our own experience. Giving without expectation. Strong and
reliable.

39 | lovers

When two atoms share electrons, they become bonded, thus gaining more
stability. Cosmic collisions between meteors and other space debris create
atomic energy that breaks down enormous chunks into smaller pieces called
"collisional families." When the collisions are big enough, the new debris can
form Moons, comets, or asteroids. Stars are born when multiple light atoms
are subjected to gaseous pressure until their nuclei fuse together.

Much the same, our relationships are Cosmic collisions where two souls
come together and create new energy. This card calls you to understand
how you are affecting a relationship and/or friendship, or how you are
being affected. Does the fusion between you inspire freedom or friction?
Are you being attentive (or vice versa)? Is the giving balanced or is one
taking more than the other?

This card carries two distinct energies:

1) Celebration with kindred souls

2) Ancestral or Tribal influence

Either way, if you've been spending too much time in solitude, it is a good
time to be with friends and lighten the mood! It is recommended to
meditate on a tribal culture, watch a tribal documentary, or pick up a new
book about another culture. It can be of great inspiration to you now.

41 | divine feminine

Universe is calling you to tap into the Divine Feminine essence

and activate this energy by allowing it to harmonize with the Divine
Masculine (see card #42). The Divine Feminine is connected to the Earth;
the Earth nourishes us in the way a mother nourishes her child. Goddess
energy is intuitive, creative, loving, resilient, confident, encouraging,
supportive, communicative, and nurturing. She finds beauty in all things.
She is sweetness and purity synergized with a wild, untamed heart. She
honors her sensual and sexual nature.

Connect to the collective Divine Feminine through hand drumming, free

dancing, meditating in a field or forest, or swimming in an exotic, wild, or
unusual location (safely, of course). Work with this card over the next 5-7
days.

42 | divine masculine

You have reached an exciting time in your transformation. This card speaks
to the rebirth of the collective Divine Masculine. The new energy created
through this rebirth is causing a shift within us all, and right now that shift is
yours to behold. To assist with this process, the Universe has gifted you with
the medicine of Swan to bring fresh air into your emotional life and to help
decompose any overactive remnants of your former understanding of the
masculine. Allow this to transform your being while at the same time
transforming the way you approach partnerships.

The central aspects of the divine masculine are: discipline, recognizing one's
power over the ego, and claiming the power to set oneself free of habits and
patterns that are damaging to the body and/or spirit. "The masculine creates
and protects the outer space and provides the feminine with a safe space for
creation. In turn the feminine nourishes and protects the masculine from
within." (quoting Jessica Malone - www.jessica-malone.com).

43 | creators of the new earth

We have a responsibility to the future of our planet, and to the wellbeing of

generations who will come after us. You are awakening to the legacy you
want to leave behind. Your actions, decisions, and beliefs shift not only with
your personal fulfillment in mind, but also with a deeper purpose for the
whole of humankind. Your inner work becomes a priority when you choose
to consciously align with Karmic influence - past, present, and future. It is time
to rework the subconscious programming of the present generation and
open to Universal wisdom. The time has come to honor the sacred
connection to our planet and spread the light of that connection to the
children: they are the Creators of the New Earth, the seeds of the future.

44 | the universal mind

"Knowledge without practice is useless; Practice without knowledge is dangerous."

- Confucious

This is the card of Nirvana, of true attunement to the intuitive self and
psychic abilities. The qualities of personal empowerment, leadership, and
multidimensional wisdom are with you as you begin to move more fluidly
into the space outside of your thinking mind. This is pure connection to
Source Energy. Signs of multidimensional awareness include losing sense of
time, forgetfulness, restlessness, unconscious projection to different eras
(past and future). Such connection to the Universal Mind is elusive,
however, and is not a final destination. You must understand the
importance of disciplined practice, daily ritual, and consistent inner focus
(i.e. meditation, astral exploration). These things are required in order to
refine your abilities.

Tune into the environments around you. Learn to speak the language of the
Earth and its creatures. (See Appendix D.).

RITUALS + MEDITATIONS

In this section you will find a selection of rituals and

meditations to use with The Universal Mind Oracle, for
strengthening your intuition and your relationship to The
Higher Self.

RITUALS + MEDITATIONS
MORNING + EVENING
GRATITUDE &
ABUNDANCE RITUALS
Morning and evening rituals are an important anchor for our
spiritual practice. Dianne Sylvan says that, "it attunes you with the
elements, then with the Divine, so that you can face whatever
comes next with equanimity and grace." Incorporating gratitude
into our morning ritual strengthens our appreciation towards the
gift of life, leaving us feeling inspired and more at ease throughout
the day.

MORNING

-Light incense or a diffuser

-Anoint temples and soles of feet with Myrrh, Rosemary, Thyme,
or Lavender
-Meditate on gratitude 2-3 minutes
-Meditate on what is abundant in your life 2-3 minutes
-Pull one card as your overall "advice" card for the day
-Give thanks

EVENING

-Light incense or a diffuser

-Anoint temples and soles of feet with any tree oil
-Connect with any grounding crystal
-With each exhale imagine your body restoring itself back to a
place of balance; with each breath in envision your body filling
with light energy
-Write down what you want to release; recycle or burn the paper
-Pull one card to receive the "overall lesson" for the day
-Give thanks

RITUALS + MEDITATIONS
2 CARDS | RELATIONSHIP
STRENGTHENING RITUAL
Card 1 - What do I need to receive more of?
Card 2 - What do I need to offer more of?

Lay cards on altar or workspace. Light two candles and meditate on

each card, one card at a time. Repeat:

With goodwill I do intend

To see harmony increase
No disturbance to offend
Home and neighborhood in peace
- (Ember Grant)

Offer gratitude for your insights. Allow candles to burn out.

Follow up with journaling and a rose or hibiscus tea. Repeat this
ritual daily for 3-5 days or as needed.

INTUITIVE TRANCEWORK
Formulate your first question while shuffling the deck. Choose a
card when you feel ready. Gaze upon the card until you enter into
a trance. Once the messages have been intuited, place the card
down. Begin shuffling again and allow the next question to surface
and choose another card. Repeat this process, laying the cards into
an intuitive spread until you feel the messages have been fully
conveyed. Follow up with journaling and be sure to rehydrate.
Always ground yourself following trancework, using tree oils or
grounding crystals.

47
RITUALS + MEDITATIONS
CENTERING MEDITATION
Light incense or select an appropriate oil or blend for your
diffuser. Light a white candle and take a few deep breaths. Begin
to shuffle your deck. When you feel ready, lay out 7 cards, all of
them face down using intuitive positions. Working with black
tourmaline or clear quartz, tap the center of each triangle one by
one in any order until you have counted to the 7th card. This card
will have the needed messages to center your energies. The
remaining 6 cards will provide you with supportive steps to take
to keep your energies centered (turn them over one by one using
an intuitive order).

NEW MOON: INTENTIONS

RITUAL
During the New Moon is the ideal time to set new intentions.

STEPS

-Connect with whichever energies you prefer to work with (herbs,

flowers, crystals, oils, etc).
-Shuffle the deck
-When you're ready, draw up to 5 cards, one for each intention
you will set, and place them face down from left to right.
-Using one crystal for each intention, charge each crystal and
write down which intention corresponds to each crystal
-Intuitively place one crystal onto each card back (cards are still
face down)
-Using your written reference, turn over each card and gather
insights about how your intention is relative to the card upon
which the crystal was placed

48
RITUALS + MEDITATIONS
F UL L M O O N : R E L E A S I N G
RITUAL
The Full Moon is the ideal time to release what is no longer
serving you.

STEPS

-Light three candles, blue or white

-Prepare an herbal mixture of any seasonal herbs
-Write out a list of what you want to release. Allow yourself to
write as much as needed
-In a stone or fire-safe bowl, tear the paper into pieces and light
with a match. sprinkle herbs over the flame
-Draw one advice card, and an additional card for clarification

NATURE DIVINATION
CARD PULLS
This section serves to encourage conversations with nature, for
deeper insights following a single card-pull. These interactions are
recommended to be taken within 3 days of any significant card
pull. With any single card pull, use the corresponding Element for
use in visual meditation or scrying to draw additional insight.
Refer to Appendix E for more specific correspondences.

We all have the capacity to tap into the collective consciousness
through the natural world, although as with any other skill it must
be honed and practiced. This connection can take you as deep as
you choose to go, and will show you as much as you choose to see.
