RATIONALE
Homecoming is a wonderful event as we welcome back and honor our former mentors
and fellow alumni. It is a time to return, renew, and re-unite the spirit that binds us
together: spirit of service and excellence. It’s a time to go back or come home to a familiar
place, see old friends, and reminisce the things and experiences that shape our
consciousness, identity, dreams, desires, and professions as Lorenzonians.
This year, Batch 2004 of Lorenzo S. Sarmiento Sr. National High School will host the
grand alumni homecoming set on December 28-29, 2017 with the theme, “Tapok ta!
Return, Renew, Re-Unite: Holding on to the Lorenzonians Spirit of Service and Excellence
Through the Years.”
In gratitude to our Alma Mater, to our contemporaries, and to all those who have
influenced our lives as we’ve reached to where we are now, our batch is wholeheartedly
gathering our efforts in offering the best activities for the grand alumni homecoming
participants.
The 2-day activity starts with a medical mission for the LSSSNHS faculty and staff, and
retired faculty; followed with a thanksgiving mass to be presided by parish priest of San
Roque Parish, Rev. Fr. Tanong; followed with a torch parade around Mawab-Poblacion,
creative zumba fitness competition, service awards (teacher 10 years-above of service &
retired LSSSNHS faculty members) and gabi ng parangal to deserving alumni who have

succeeded in their fields (board passers this school year) and those who have contributed
in the development of the municipality, raffle draw, and rave party for all the alumni.
OBJECTIVES
To return all the investment (time, presence, effort, love, care, and guidance) of
our beloved teachers through the years by having a medical mission
To renew our commitment in supporting and promoting school projects with
and among alumni
To re-unite the 17 batches of LSSSNHS in recognizing and honoring the
contribution of faculty members whose service and dedication for excellence
shaped/molded every Lorenzonian student and professional.
