Welcome to the new players’ guide for Ninth Dynasty/Revengeful Ascension.

• This guide is for a total beginner or even a top-level player;

• Skip the part(s) of the guide that you already know.

1. When you start a new character, you get some starter’s gifts which include one deco and 4 bags.
The deco and 2 of those bags are temporary, which expire after 30 days, but don’t worry. If the
bags expire, the items are not lost. They just become inaccessible. You can get 2 extra bags from
Eclipse NPC for free.
2. You should do your first quest in Bamboo Village to get your lightfoot (LF). After doing the quest,
the next only worth doing quests are some quests at your clan base to choose your role and
Herbalist Request (which you should do at level HI11 0% to advance to cap level immediately).
You don’t have to do every Road to Dragon (RTD), since 2nd role is automatic in this server.
3. You have a total of 4 pills which you get from gift. Those are: white pill, blue pill, green pill and
red pill. Keep them equipped because they will give you a 35% leech, i.e. you will gain health as
you attack mobs. You also get a starter weapon that can be used to kill mobs.
4. When you reach Losing Self 12 (LS12) 100%, make sure you do chi breathing (CB) at Bamboo, so
you can receive a nice gift, which includes a starter clothes set.
5. There are many maps in 9Dragons (9D), but your first objective after getting your role is to hit
Hermit 12 (H12) and kill mobs to gain weapons as drops and sell those weapons to earn gold. The
map used for farming gold is Tibet, near first village. Another good way to farm gold is to walk
around maps and open gold boxes. You should use drop card to increase the drop rate of this. The
best maps to farm gold boxes are Icy, Jinan and Cave of the Conqueror.
6. The first major target is to get your Flag of Chaos (FOC) done, which costs nearly 2b in game gold.
FOC is pretty easy to farm, so it’s better to save the gold and farm it.
7. Next, you should get a weapon. There are mainly 3 types of weapon: Heaven’s Gate 12 (HG12)
weapons (Crimson weapons), Heavenly Immortal 5 (HI5) Bad Karma (BK)/Good Karma (GK) Player
vs. Player (PVP) weapons or HI5 Player vs. Environment (PVE) weapons and HI9 weapons (Ninth
Dragon weapons).
8. You should focus on getting your HI5 PVE +15. This weapon is good enough to farm higher level
maps, such as Kunlun (KL). +15 is a refinement level of a weapon. Refinement is like an upgrade
in weapon’s damage and +15 is max upgrade. Follow the guide on league’s Discord for refine or
give the weapons to a more experienced league member, so they can refine them for you. You
can add a +2 scroll on it. Use a +2 only on HI5 PVE and HI9 weapons.
9. After getting your weapon, you should make your HG5 clothes, which are Dusk Kylin clothes. HG5
clothes are made in 2 steps: first, get your H4 clothes and make then into Immortal 6 (IM6)
clothes; then make them into HG5. The H4 clothes can be provided by anyone in a league or
farmed in King Jin’s dungeon (KJD) or in Black Monks’ dungeon (BMD). You need to do Golden
Coins Mansion (GCM) runs to collect Fragments of Conqueror and East and West Temples’
dungeons to get your resources for clothes. Here is how you make HG5 parts:
10. You can also equip Black Dragon Banner and Blue Dragon Banner along with pills and Red banner
as well. Both black and blue banners require 2 Copper Bloods and 2 Bronze Bloods.
11. After completing the above, your next focus should be your KL beads, which come in a set of 5
and you should collect them by the following order:
a. Golden Dragon Bead;
b. Blue Dragon Bead;
c. Phoenix Bead;
d. Silver Tiger Bead;
e. Black Tortoise Bead.
Resources for all beads are the same, yet Silver Bead needs an additional Nine-tail Fox Essence.
12. Let’s have a look at KL to see the bosses’ location.

• You can kill Spider Queen at Forest of Spider;

• Nine-tail Fox is found at the entrance of Forest of Tiger (you need to kill a fox girl-
like mini-boss to spawn it). You can also find another Fox at the end of the Forest
by the lake (you don’t have to kill anything to spawn this one);
 • Black Witch Goku can be found near Advanced Base at the Overturned Heaven
Plain. There are 2 Gokus that spawn there;
• Black Tortoise spawns at Closed Mine and at Overturned Heaven Plain;
• Double Smasher spawns at Ruins and at Overturned Heaven Plain;
• Blue Dragon spawns at Deep Dragon Valley and at Overturned Heaven Plain;
• You can obtain Lunar Jades by killing Smasher, Goku and Black. Solar Jades are
more problematic because they are only dropped by Phoenixes, which are found
at Forest of Spider. If you use drop card, small Phoenixes have a higher chance of
dropping Jades.
13. The main objective of any new player in league should be to identify the current timing of bosses’
spawn and get Spirit of KL, which is dropped by every mob and boss in KL map. Bosses spawn
every 30 minutes. If you show dedication towards making beads, your league mates will help you
in every way they can. Work your ass off to collect Spirit of KL, because it is a challenge. Keep
collecting it and other materials and the league will try to help you getting Bead of Black Dragon
(BOBD) and Eye of Black Dragon, by doing Loulan Dungeon (LLD) runs with you. You can also get
Spirit of KL by killing mobs in East Temple.
14. You will get every help from the league, but you need to show your enthusiasm. Here, people are
helpful, yet you aren’t here to get free items. You need to work hard and, if you show that hard
work, people will help you.
15. After getting your beads, you should aim for HG12 set. First you do a clan set and then you turn
them into vagabond (vaga) set. The latter will be needed to make PVE and PVP HI9 set afterwards.
