1)open EHR

 openEHR is an open standard specification in health informatics that describes


the management and storage, retrieval and exchange of health data in electronic
health records. In openEHR, all health data for a person is stored in a "one
lifetime", vendor-independent, person-centred EHR.

2) FreeMED

 FreeMED is an open source electronic medical record system based


on Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (commonly referred to as LAMP).

3)Open EMR

 OpenEMR is free, open source software for the health care


industry. OpenEMR integrates medical practice management, electronic medical
record (EMR) patient scheduling and electronic billing functionality. Additional
features include e-prescribing, a patient portal and a clinical decision support
system.

4)Care2x

 Care2x is an open source hospital information management system (HIS), It has


been released first time in 2002, and gain the attention of end-users around the
world for ease of installation as it supports multiple platforms, configuration and
simple user-interface which comes with language switcher that supports multiple
languages.

TYPES OF WIRELESS DEVICES

1)PDAs

 A personal digital assistant, also known as a handheld PC, is a variety mobile


device which functions as a personal information manager. PDAs have been
mostly displaced by the widespread adoption of highly capable smartphones, in
particular those based on iOS and Android.

2)Cell phones -A cellphone is any portable telephone which uses cellular network
technology to make and receive calls. The name comes from the cell-like structure of
these networks. As long as a phone can transmit a signal to a cellular network, it is
a cellphone.

 I Phones- The iPhone is a smartphone developed by Apple. The first iPhone was
released in June, 2007 and an updated version has been released roughly every
year since then. While the iPhone was originally only available to AT&T
customers, the iPhone 4 was released on the Verizon network in February,
2010.The iPhone has a sleek, minimalist design, and differs from other
smartphones in its lack of buttons. Most operations on the iPhone are performed
using the touch screen display. The only physical buttons include a sleep/wake
button, a mute switch, volume up/down buttons, and a home button. All versions
of the iPhone have a rear-facing camera, but the iPhone 4 introduced a front-
facing camera, which can be used for video calls made using the FaceTime
feature. The iPhone 4 also included the first 960 x 640 pixel "retina display,"
which has double the resolution of previous iPhone displays.
 Blackberry- The BlackBerry is a smartphone made by the Canadian
company BlackBerry Limited (formerly Research In Motion). BlackBerry
phones are known for their email handling and security features and are often
thought of as business-centric devices, despite BlackBerry's efforts to join the
consumer market.

principal products are mobile telephones and portable IT devices. Nokia was the
world's largest vendor of mobile phones from 1998 to 2012.

3)iPod touch (mp3, player)- The iPod is a portable music player developed by Apple
Computer. The iTunes software, also created by Apple, is used to organize and transfer
songs and playlists to the iPod. Both iTunes and the iPod support a wide variety of
audio formats, including MP3, AAC, WAV, and AIFF.

navigated through clinical decission support.

4)Netdoc- NetDocuments is a cloud-based document and email management service


that provides enterprise-level security, mobility, disaster recovery,
and collaboration solutions for organizations with high data security requirements, such
as law firms, financial institutions, and insurance industries.

7)MediSoft- Medisoft is medical billing and accounting software used by doctors and
other healthcare professionals to input patient records, submit insurance claims, and

8)Epocrates Rx- Epocrates is a mobile medical reference app, owned by Watertown,


Massachusetts-based athenahealth, that provides clinical reference information on
drugs, diseases, diagnostics and patient management.

9)SNAP- Sentinel Application Platform

A common architecture for all Sentinel Toolboxes is being jointly developed by


Brockmann Consult, Array Systems Computing and C-S called the Sentinel Application
Platform (SNAP). The SNAP architecture is ideal for Earth Observation processing and
analysis due the following technological innovations: Extensibility, Portability, Modular

Graph Processing Framework.

10)STARS- STARS is a cloud-based campus management solution that helps schools


and colleges manage operational data. It is suitable for the needs of small and midsize
institutions. Key features include lead management and reporting, email tracking,
attendance scanning and dashboards.

11)Telehealth- Telehealth is the distribution of health-related services and information


via electronic information and telecommunication technologies. It allows long-distance
patient and clinician contact, care, advice, reminders, education, intervention,
monitoring, and remote admissions
