BI Dashboard Report

The details of total no. of employees mentioned in the database is 1425. The employees vary in
their job roles, salaries, their skillsets and work experience. The record of all employees is
distinctive in nature.

The sum total CTC of all the 1425 employees is Rs. 139,00,00,000 per annum. The CTC that
includes fixed and variable component varies across employee base w.r.t. their roles and skills.
The median of current total CTC comes to be Rs. 8,20,000 per annum.

When consider the variable cost, the total cost of employees which includes their CTC and other
welfare schemes is summed to be Rs. 145,00,00,000 per annum. This cost is higher than current
total CTC as it includes their insurance and medical.

Types of Roles:

There are various roles/designations at which employees are working across the hierarchy. The
data shows the employees varying from associate to manager and all the way to director level
with their respective salary components and their work experience.

The above bar chart shows the comparison between various employees’ role bands from RB2 to
RB7 and their salary component. For each role band, the bar graph clearly distinct the fixed CTC
and variable pay.

The graph shows that the role band RB5 (B) has the highest salary with Rs. 370.8 million being
the fixed CTC and Rs. 37.1 million being the variable pay. There are 339 employees that work in
RB5 (B) role band out of which 172 of them works in Bangalore. The total CTC of employees in
this band is summed to be Rs. 407.97 million. Most of these employees are skilled in SAP
technologies like BASIS and ABAP. Many are skilled in Java and others have a varied pool of skills.
The age range of 34-36 has the highest no. of employees in this role band.

While the RB2 has the lowest salary with current CTC to be Rs. 4.8 million and Rs. 2.4 million as
their variable pay. Only 1 employee works in this band in HR domain.

The second highest salary is drawn by employees coming under role band RB6.

The above donut chart represents the salary break-up of the total employee pool. There are four
components to it; Current basic, current variable pay, current retirals and flexipay. The basic
accounts for 22% of the total salary. The biggest part is flexipay which accounts for 62% of salary.
The rest two components that are variable pay and retirals accounts for 10% and 4% respectively.

The above chart shows the bifurcation of number of employees located in different cities across
India. Basically, the employees are located in 5 cities that are Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi
and Chennai. The Bangalore office has the highest density of employees which is followed by
Mumbai, Pune, Delhi. The Chennai facility has the least number of employees. The Bangalore

office accommodates a total of 645 employees costing almost Rs. 640 million. They have a varied
employee base having skillsets in multiple technologies like SAP, Java, IT Infra, Application
programmers etc.

While Mumbai office accommodates 386 employees working in various role band with varied
skills and work experience. The Chennai office which accommodates only 8 employees having
skills in SAP and QlikView.

The above bar graph shows the number of employees with different amount of work experience.
Most of the employees i.e. around 673 employees are having minimum 4 years of work
experience. Almost half of these employees are located in Bangalore having a common expertise
in SAP technologies. Most of these employees are aged in the range of 29-34.

The trend in the graph shows that number of employees with significant amount of experience
above 10 years are very less. Most of these high experienced employees holds the executive
positions like associate manager, principle consultants and director.
