NAME OF ORGANIZATION

The College of Business Administration Student Council

TYPE OF ORGANIZATION

The College of Business Administration Student Council is the governing body of


CBA students that formulates the policy and direct the affairs of the college. The
organization consists of various positions arranged in a hierarchy with a clear definition
of the authority and responsibilities.

It is composed of a set of elected officers which functions for one school year.
These officers share common goals and objectives and have specific roles and duties.
Every school year the officers change from time to time through another election.

The CBA Student Council manages the allocation of budget for every semester
and facilitates the activities of both the college and university. They oversee the collection
of the council fees from the CBA students which is the bulk of the council funds.

VISION, MISSION AND GOALS

The CBA Council has not established its own Vision and Mission statements.

NATURE AND SCOPE OF BUSINESS

The CBA Student Council is a group of democratically elected student leaders

working together with an adult advisor within the framework of a constitution to serve the

student body. The organization aims to conduct and facilitate activities and events for the

college and serve as a means for student-faculty communication.


LOCATION MAP AND PHYSICAL LAYOUT

The CBA Student Council room is located on the 3 rd floor of the College of

Business Administration of Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

MARKET DESCRIPTION AND MARKETING APPROACH

The CBA Student Council is the representative of the entire student community of
the SU College of Business and Administration. The Student Council tend to increase the
quality of student life in the college and promote student activity as well as the involvement
in the outside community. In addition to this, the student council is the voice of the student
body in which they help share student ideas, interest and concerns in the community.

The function of the student council is based on parliamentary procedures. The


ideas are presented, voted upon and confirmed by the student body governor. Any
student interested in leadership, event planning or becoming more involved in the school
activities are welcome to become involved.

II. PERSONNEL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The College of Business Administration holds a Constitution, a formal document


that contains the duties and responsibilities of an officer. However, the CBA Council
cannot, at present, locate the said document.
