METHOD STATEMENT

Purpose: Excavation for Footing

Scope of work

 Excavation up to 2 mtrs. approximately

 Side cutting, dressing leveling & compaction manually.
 Transported of soil to designated area.
 Plumb concreting done by Mini batching plant or RD Mixture.

Procedure

 De-markation of footing to be excavated.

 Proper access making for vehicle movement.
 Dressing leveling and side cutting using hand tools (Manually).
 Compaction by using dhurmuz or Compactor.
 Excavation using mechanical machines poclane, dumpers, & tractors
& may be manually.
 Transportation of soil to designated area using dumpers, Tractor Hywa
etc.
 Area hard barrication around excavated area.
 Access to be provided for entry exit to pit excavated.

Equipment Used
Poclan, JCB, Dumpers, Tractors,Hywa.
Safety Measures

 PPE’S will be provided to all work men.

 Proper access for vehicle movements.
 Aluminum ladder or MS Ladder for entry & exit into pit & fixed
properly.
 Hard barrication 1.00mtr. Away from excavated pit.
 Swing area defines & barricaded any one side around excavator.
 Clear the access before plumb concreting or PCC.
 Continuous supervision.
