METHOD STATEMENT

STRUCTURAL WORK
UNLOADING

o Hard Barricading will be done all around the Material Stacking Yard other than
access and will be identified using board.
o Material unloading is to be done by manually or by using machinery.
o For small sections i.e, Angles, channels small beams can be unloaded manually
for which unit weight is less.
o Heavy Sections will be unloaded by Hydra.
o Structural material will be stacked over wooden reapers.
o While unloading the material trained signal man will give the signal.
o While unloading material to be fastened securely using Sling, Nylon Belts &
Shackles.

FABRICATION YARD

o Area to be hard barricaded.

o Fabrication Yard will be divided in to various sections.

Marking
Cutting Cutting Set
Drilling Bench Drill & Magnet Drill
Grinding AG7 &AG4
Fitting & Tack Welding. Rectifier
Final welding & Finishing

o Proper Earthing to be provided for Welding Machine and Drill Machine

o All Electrical connections will be done through ELCB Only.
o Marking will be done at yard and will be shifted to cutting area in the yard
through proper means i.e, manually/hydra.
o After cutting then grinding will be done after that drilling and fitting will be done.
o Final Welding will be done at the yard.

GAS STORAGE

o Shelter will be provided for Gas Cylinders on the designated area.

o DA will be separately stored apart from Oxygen
o Full DA and empty Cylinders will be identified separately.
o Full Oxygen and empty Cylinders will be identified separately.
o DA cylinders and Oxygen will be stored at a distance of 3 mtrs.
o Cutting Set will be provided with trolly and chain strip.
o Both side of the cutting hose in between Cylinder gauge and torch will be
provided with flash back arrestors.
