Purpose

The purpose of the experiment is to observe the facial expressions and body
language of the participants while they were being interviewed about their past
relationships.
Hypothesis

 The participants still have lingering feelings for their past relationships.

 The participants have moved on from their past relationships.

Survey Questions:

1. Did you have a past relationships? How was it?

2. Did you have exes? How many? Why did it not work?

3. After those relationships what is your outlook upon love?

4. Will you ever love again?

Method
In this experiment, the researcher used qualitative descriptive research method via
interview. The interview is a mean of observing the facial expressions and body language of
the participants while they were being interviewed about their past relationships.
Interviewing of selected individuals is a very important method often used by qualitative
researchers. The rationale for using the interview methods is to enable the researcher to find
out what is on their mind, what they think and how they feel about something. In this case their
feelings.

Procedure

The researchers will find participants who have past relationships that will be
volunteered to be asked about their past relationships. The researcher will give them time to
read and sign the informed consent. The experiment is to analyze their facial expressions and
body language of the while being interviewed about their past relationships.

Discussion
The participants facial expression and body language reveals their feelings from their
past relationships. Some show lingering feelings from their past and are uncomfortable to talk
about it. In the other hand, the participants have moved on and comfortable to talk about the
past.
