CHAPTER I.
BACKGROUND
A. Introduction

SAN DIEGO Elementary School is located in Brgy. San

Diego, Bauan, Batangas with a total population of 588 people in
the community and 22 km away from municipality, with 76
students, 4 teaching personnel, 1 non-teaching personnel and 1
janitor. The land area of the school is about 5,051 square meter.

To make sure the safety of everyone in the school premises at all times,
the Schools Disaster Risk Reduction Management Organization was

CHAPTER II
A. GOALS
The goal of the contingency plan is to provide effective, efficient, timely and
well-coordinated response mechanisms in the event of the occurrence of armed conflict in
San Diego ES. Such mechanisms shall help to protect lives, properties and the
environment, and restore the immediate needs of the people.

B. GENERAL OBJECTIVES
I. OBJECTIVES
“This 2019 Contingency Plan covers 76 school learners and 6 personnel. It focuses on
human induced related hazards(armed conflict).” It aims the following:

 Give knowledge and understanding about the precautionary measures before

during and after an armed conflict.
 Identify the different human induced related hazards specially armed conflict.
 Prepare learners and personnel for any human induced related hazards that may
occur
 Make a comprehensive plan
 Respond immediately to the damages brought by any human induced related
hazards
