LISTENING:
TITLE: TEARS IN HEAVEN by Eric Clapton
OBJECTIVES:
Interpretation of the lyrics in the music “Tears in Heaven” by
sharing one own experience.
Determine the figurative language used in the song though
discussion.
Draw inferences relying on the lyrics of the music through
essay.
SUBSKILLS:
Understanding ideas and information in the lyrics of the
song which is not explicitly stated.

PROCEDURE/ CONTENT:
A. TITLE: How Much Land Does a Man Need? By: Leo Tolstoy
B. OBJECTIVES:
Read with the right tone, rhythm, stress, and intonation.
Portray a particular character in a text.
Develop public speaking skills.
SUBSKILLS:
Reading aloud
Fluency, accuracy with words and pronunciation
Develop student’s self- confidence.
C. PROCEDURE /CONTENT
The students will read aloud the text one stanza for each
student.
After reading the teacher will group the students into 4
groups with 6 members each. The teacher will assign a
particular scene that each group will portray a particular
character in a text. Presentation of each group will be 2
minutes each.
The teacher will make some questions regarding the text
that placed inside the box. He/ she will call each student,
get a question and answer it in front. They have a minute to
answer the question.

B. OBJECTIVES:
Analyze the plot using Freytag’s model

After reading the text, the students will group into 3
to compose a song related to the story with the tune
of trending music. Maximum of 2- 3 stanzas.
In a short bond paper create a Campaign
advertisement Script for Promoting Gender Equality.
Group the students into 4 for collaboration in making
Slogan for Gender Equality.

Identifying Action Words in each stanza
Express ideas by giving examples of Verbs in Simple Past
Tense and use it in a sentence.
Create a travel journal of your last summer experience
using Verbs in Simple Past Tense.
C. SUBSKILLS:
Identification of Action words in poem
Expressing one’s idea by giving examples of Verbs in Simple
Past Tense.
Creating personal travel journal
D. PROCEDURE/CONTENT:
After reading the poem, ask the students to identify the
action words that is present in each stanza, then the teacher
should discuss the Simple Past Tense in Collaborative
Discussion.
Each student should express ideas by giving examples of
Verbs in Simple Past Tense and use it in a sentence.
In a one whole sheet of paper the students should create a
travel journal of their last summer vacation using Simple
Past Tense.
6. LITERATURE:

Identifying the Cause and Effect in the story
Relating the Moral lesson in the story to the relevant
issue of the country through Essay Form.

D. PROCEDURE/CONTENT:
After reading the text the students will summarize the story
and that’s when the teacher will start the discussion through
collaborative learning.
In the discussion the students will identify the Cause and
Effect through art of questioning in some events and
situation that happened in the story.
The student will write an essay relating the Moral lesson of
the story to the Relevant Issue of our Country.
