Education is an important tool that is applied in the contemporary world to succeed, as it mitigates the
challenges which are faced in life. The knowledge gained through education that enables individuals’
potential to be optimally utilized owing to training human mind. This opens doors of opportunities that
enables individual to achieve better prospects in career growth. Education has played a paramount
role in the modern industrial world.

Learning is a continuous process. It is indeed true, because the fact that you have graduated in
college and have a job, learning never stops. You always learn new things every day that will make
your life better. I remember when I was in college, one of my professor said that teaching is a two-
way process, students learn from a teacher and vice versa. And as a teacher for eight years, I
realized that learning through my teaching experience is not enough to share to my students.

So I have decided to take master’s course to broadened my knowledge in the field, to enhance my
teaching skills, to acquire new and innovative styles and strategies in teaching, to improve my
communication skills and lastly to gain recognition and credibility. I want to broadened my knowledge
and enhanced my skills because as a teacher or as a senior people, it is my responsibility to transfer
my knowledge to the younger members of the society. I want to help them achieve their own success.

To help me do all this, I need to enroll to one of the universities that cater the best graduate school
program especially in education, University of Caloocan City (UCC) Camarin branch. This institution
has its good reputation in terms of teaching their students. They produce highly competitive
graduates that are now very successful on their chosen career. It is also highly recommended by the
principals of different public schools because of its academic excellence, high-end facilities and
equipment and most importantly, UCC is one of the state colleges that offers an inexpensive but
quality education.

Obtaining master’s degree has truly many benefits, which can be very helpful to any professionals.
These are some of the lists of the benefits which are also my plan after having my master’s degree.
First, with master’s degree you will be eligible for more jobs. Especially today, as the Senior High
School starts, different schools established their own program which means there are high demands
of teachers or instructors. Second, for graduate degree holders, the numbers are favorable. As a
public school teacher, promotion is very easy if you have a master’s degree. It means you’ll be having
a higher annual salary if you got promoted than teacher 1. It offers clear evidence that completing a
graduate degree can make a positive impact on one's financial situation.

And lastly, choosing to pursue a master’s degree takes initiative and commitment. The same
traits, along with your newly gained knowledge and skills, will make you a successful leader and
innovator when you complete your degree. As these words pop out to my mind, I can say that
education is really the key to success. No matter how difficult to reach it as long as you have a
determination, you were working hard, dedication to your job, give our best to task at hand and
having faith, nothing is impossible.
