Updated Version of INI-VG Board and Firmware

Gamewell-FCI by Honeywell is notifying our customers about changes to the E3 Series Intelligent Network
Voice Gateway, the INI-VG. Due to chip obsolesce, we have updated our hardware on the audio codec.
These changes are hardware only and do not impact compatibility with older Voice Gateway boards.
Hardware Update
The new boards can be identified by the updated audio codec and slider switches (see Figure 1 below).

 Replacement of termination jumpers with sliding switches. Simplifying switch adjustments, less
susceptible to bending pins and losing jumpers
Software Update
To support the new INI-VG hardware, Gamewell-FCI has also released an updated versions of the INI-VGC,
INI-VGX, and INI-VGE firmware (version 3.00). Version 3.00 can be downloaded in the “downloads” section
of our website, and is fully backwards compatible with the older version of the INI-VG board.
Please note, all new boards must use version 3.00 or higher. Flashing version 2.3, or older, of the INI-VGC,
INI-VGX, and INI-VGE to the new board is NOT compatible and will cause irreparable damage to the board.
