1. Sauce for the goose means, what is good for one person is also good for another one.
Like, if Olivia kills Loren, it is good enough for Stephen to kill Olivia. And so Olivia can kill
Stephan.

2. Olivia killed Loren (her husband) so that she could have a life with her younger lover
Stephen and of course, it was not so bad for her that Loren had left her money and a few
houses. When she found out, that Stephen wanted her dead, she wanted to kill him,
because she was so hurt and frustrated. She realized that Stephan was only with her
because of the money. Stephan tried to kill Olivia for the inheritance.

3. Stephen went to the cellar where the deep freeze, to experiment on a trap for Olivia. But
he got trapped by himself when the door closed and he couldn't get out. He called for Olivia
who heart him but therefore she already knew that he wanted her death, she went away to
let him die. Next day Olivía went to have a look and for a set up for the police but she gots
trapped inside,too and froze to death next side to Stephen.
No the ending was not a big surprise, because we knew that Stephen had set a trap for her.

4. I think the only who can get some sympathy is Loren who wanted to stay in his marriage
even when he knew that his wife was cheating on him. Loren was rich but a little naive man.
He convinced his wife not to see Stephen for a period of three weeks, because he supposed
that she was depressed. He also thought she wants to kill herself. Just a few seconds before
his death, he realized her real character. Olivia and Stephen are certainly no popular figure,
both are greedy, mean and ambitious, even they are able to commit murder.

Stephen at a party at her house. She started to meet him for lunch. She went to see a play
where Stephen acted for 5 minutes in the first act. She also invited him for a cocktail party
then. She wanted to get divorce from Loren, but Loren did not want a divorce. So she told
him that she will not contact Stephen for 3 month. But she was lying and she contacted
Stephen every day. She played the lovesick woman at home, while she was planning how to
murder her husband with Stephen every day. She killed her husband, putting on a trap in
cellar stairs. She married 5 months later, in August to Stephen. When she found out, that
Stephen wanted her dead, she wanted to kill him, because she was so hurt and frustrated.
She realized that Stephan was only with her because of the money.
Stephen Castle: He was 35 years old and lover of Olivia. He was an actor but not a popular
one. He had just some little acts to play. He met Olivia at a party which Loren had invited
him. He married to Olivia and moved into the house after Loren`s death. Then, during a party
that he organized, tried to push Olivia over from the terrace. When Olivia realized about his
really intentions, they started to plan kill each other. Always tasting the food before eating,
both thinking of cellar steps again, nobody would dare to use the same means twice. He was
doing the best job of acting in his life. Stephen thought that Olivia had a bird brain, so he
made a trap in the freeze, but he got trapped by himself when the door closed and he
couldn't go out. He called for Olivia who heart him but she went away to let him die. Next day
