Also, for any call issued from a GSM phone towards the
number of the MobiLink unit connected to the PBX, you may
call any local subscriber you want, still paying only the cost of
a mobile-to-mobile call inside the GSM network instead of
being billed for a mobile-to-fixed call.

3.1. Identifying the connectors
The three connectors are located on the bottom panel of the
MobiLink equipment
ALIM – female jack type connector for the power supply adapter;
RS232 – female RJ45 connector for serial connection (configuring,
data transfer);
TEL – female RJ-11 connector for the flat cable that links MobiLink
to a trunk of the PBX or an analog phone;

3.6. Significance of LED indicators
The MobiLink GSM equipment has three LEDs
as optical status indicators, as shown in figure 3
to the right.
Their colors are red, orange and green, and
they also have symbols: phone, network/level,
power

using a telephone connected to the FxS
interface (Which must be activated). If the

Significance of the yellow LED indicator
This LED indicator has also multiple significances: information
about the mobile network (registering, signal level) and shows the
serial port activity (data transfer). It is located between the red and
the green indicators, and it’s colored in yellow.

not registered in the network!

blinks but is no activity in the network
Blinks three times – the module is registered,
and there is data activity in the network

Period of blink period is, the higher signal level you have:
