I am writing regarding Bonnie Zimlich, who has expressed interest in working with students
with special needs in a Life Skills classroom. Bonnie has interned in my class for the 2018-2019
school year, each afternoon Tuesday-Friday.

Bonnie has been a fantastic addition to my team. She has been proactive when planning
upcoming lessons and bringing materials to supplement each lesson. Bonnie has built a
relationship with the students that allows her to challenge each student academically and
socially. She sets high expectations when she enters the classroom and makes sure each
student is aware of these expectations. Bonnie has shown growth in terms of lesson planning,
understanding the curriculum, and incorporating innovative ways to teach the lessons. She will
be a great asset to any team she is a part of.

I believe that Bonnie has a tremendous amount of potential and would be an outstanding
addition to your staff. I would have no reservations about allowing her to intern in my class
again and am confident in recommending Bonnie for employment with your school. If you have
