1. What is significance of interaction cost in designing mobile solutions?

Ans: The interaction cost is the sum of efforts — mental and physical — that
the users must deploy in interacting with a site in order to reach their goals.
Ideally, we’d like users to go to a site and find the answer they’re looking for
right there, in front of their eyes. That would mean zero interaction cost and is
the holy grail of usability as a field. Unfortunately, zero interaction cost is rarely
attainable, since most sites and apps offer many things that users may want to
do. Most of the time, users have to look around, read, possibly scroll, find a
promising link, click on it, wait for the page to load, and then repeat the process
all over. This can cause the user to lose interest in the mobile solution thus
closing the app and not using it in future or not recommending the solution thus
can pertain to huge losses for the developer of the solution. Thus to keep the
customers engaged with the solution interaction cost should be given huge
importance while designing mobile solutions.
2. Name three mobile apps with lesser interaction cost for users.
Ans: Whatsapp, Facebook, Youtube
3. Name three mobile apps with higher interaction cost for users.
Ans: Pinterest,Spotify,Snapchat
4. Name three websites with lesser interaction cost for users.
Ans: Amazon,Facebook,Quora
5. Name three websites with higher interaction cost for users.
Ans: Github, SBI (banking), E-filing(Income tax).

Conclusion:-
The basic app UI was made for mobiles and studied to know the strategies of reducing
user interaction cost and how the user can easily focus on the product.
