CHAPTER I
PRELIMINARY
Humans always try to find the truth. Some have taken to obtain the truth,
among others, by using ratios such as the rationalists and through experience or
empirically. The experiences gained by humans produce principles through
rational reasoning events that apply in nature are understandable.
The structure of human knowledge shows levels in terms of capturing the
truth. Each level of knowledge in the structure shows a different level of truth.
Higher levels of knowledge are rational and intuitive. While the lower level of
capturing truth is sensory knowledge and instinct because it is not structured and
generally fuzzy. Therefore knowledge must be equipped with higher.
The process of finding the truth is certainly not an easy thing and can be
said to be a very tiring process, even it is not impossible to bring despair. Man,
which is basically the creature who always asks and the consumer wants to know
in the end decides to keep on searching for the truth, no matter how desperate
he has surrounded him from various corners. The ultimate goal is truth to be
found.
definition of truth "This is the truth! This is the truth! Let us join in our
ranks, so you will find righteousness! " So like it or not, it's easy not to like it, like
or dislocated truths are confined to a definition prison that is certainly very
subjective.

Inspirational Story,
Khadijah Watson

She is a teacher and pastor and evangelist, she is also the founder of the
missionary church. He is known as a very intelligent and pleasant person as a
follower of fundamentalist radicalism.

She got to know Islam after meeting an American who had just worked in Saudi
Arabia and had become a Muslim. From that moment he wondered about Islam
before finally the woman was taken to the Islamic Center.

So long learning about Watson Catholicism was taught to know Islam as a

destructive religion and its holy book the Koran spread heresy or Satan. But he did
not get it while visiting the Islamic Center. He was well received, without
intimidation.

An interest in God in the divinity of Allah SWT. One God. He also found the facts
of the concept of trinity not in the original Biblical Hebrew. Moreover, the Bible in
Mark 12:29 reads "the Lord your God is God Almighty and you will not have
another God besides Me".
Watson eventually became a Jewish Muslim after studying the Hebrew Bible.

About truth in islam religion
A.Absolute Truth

Absolute Truth is a truth that is logical / not logical or rational / irrational. For
example is:
1.The truth puts God as the last point or concludes the whole study
2.The truth to understand God as the first cause in the universe, the first cause of
all the perfection found in the world.
3.The truth to explain God as an impersonal substance.
4.The proof of a truth that is open to maintain the belief of a particular religion,
but means to express the basic truths of all religions or the unrighteousness of
certain bases
.5 The truth that always addresses everything will still discuss the existence of
God.
6.The object of the truth is that of the existence of God as the most and eternal
substance.

B.Universal Truth

Universal truth is truth that is logical / illogical, it also concerns the issue
of imam / kafir and halal or haram.
For example are:
1. The truth of seeing God as the starting point of the discussion.
2. The truth is to explain God with all mysteries of revelation.
3. The truth of seeing God as a personal substance. That is the creation that is
created and worshiped and can be associated with beings.

6
4.Truth that aims to maintain that belief.
5. The truth that always discusses everything will still discuss the existence of
God.
6.The object of the truth is that of the existence of God as the most and eternal
substance.

C. Relative Truth

Relative Truth is a truth that is only based on personal or personal thoughts.

In the sense of being able to choose any truth with the intention to calm down in
a person and feel peaceful in carrying it out.
In other words, thinking about the basics of religion, a person cannot be
separated from his religious feelings. One of the figures like Al-Gazali is looking for
the ultimate truth, namely the truth that is undoubted, like ten of the three. If
there were people who said that there were three more than ten by saying a stick
could be a snake, it did. Al-Gazalai was amazed at his abilities, but even so the
belief in ten greater than three would not falter.
Finally Al-Gazali arrived at the truth that was in Tasawup after he
experienced a very long and complicated process. Sufism is what eliminates his
doubts.
The adherents of rationalism believe that truth and error lie in the idea and
not in something. If truth contains the meaning of an idea that matches or points
to reality, then the truth can only exist in one’s mind and can only be obtained by
reason.
Of the three types of truth that have been explained above, it turns out that
there are four kinds of truths that are Correspondence,
Coherence, Pragmatism, and Hudhuri. Other wise :
1. Correctness of Correspondence That is truth that draws general conclusions
from specific things. As the main means is a healthy sense.

7
2. Truth Coherence That is the truth that the statement is considered true if the
statement is coherent or consistent with the statement of the previous statement
is considered true. Religion can be considered right because it gives peace to the
soul and order in society.
3. The Truth of Pragmatism That is the truth of a statement measured by criteria
whether the statement is functional in your practical life or not. Religion can be
considered right because it gives peace to the soul and order in society. Hudhuri’s
truth
4. That is the truth that is understood by presence because it is marked by eligi
conditions and objects that have immanence that make them self-object
knowledge.

D. Definition of Religion

Religion is a system of God’s belief held by a group of people by always holding

with him the subject matter. What is discussed in religion is the existence of
human beings and the relationship between humans and God. In its conclusion,
the view of Islamic religion on these truths is essentially based on faith and
devotion to each of us.
Thinking freely in discussing the basics of eJ ligion can be taken in two forms. :
1.Discusses the fundamentals of religion analytically and critically without the
boundaries of teachings and without a purpose to express the truth of a religion.
2.Discuss the fundamentals of religion analytically and critically with the intention
to express the truth of religious teachings, or at least to explain that what is
taught in religion is not contrary to logic.
Ibnu Rushd, Muslim philosopher from Andalusia, argued that eliminating
naturalist doubts about religion, then the meaning of miracles needs to be
expanded. So far miracles have only focused on supernatural things.
Miracles are proofs of the truth of a messenger of God. For example, not
burning Abraham in fire by fire not as proof of prophethood, but as part of a

8
belief intended for people. As for us as believers, we must believe in other
miracles than that event, that is the content of the souls of the prophets.

Chapter 3
Conclusion
9
From the description above we can take some conclusions that:
1. The only true religion, accepted and accessed by Allah Almighty is Islam. In
addition to other religions, besides Islam, will not be accepted by Allah Almighty;
2. Jews and Christians are not happy with Islam and they are not pleased with
their Islamabad;
3. Islam is an easy religion. He was brought down perfectly according to human
nature and ability;
4. A Muslim must be optimistic about the reward and money that will be given in
response to his commitment to Islam and sunnah;
5. A Muslim who wants to take advantage of the main times and pay attention to
him to get the best momentum in worship and in harmony
