 Theodolite is a type of tool for measuring the ground surface both vertically and horizontally
surface. This is usually used by civil engineering students to do field practicum in mapping courses.
This tool works by using an optical system. we have to be careful when using it because this
theodolite is sold at a very expensive price. In campus regulations, if we neglect to use this tool until
it breaks, we must replace it with a new one.

The price of digital theodolites is generally in the range of 16 million to 18 million rupiah. so
in order not to damage this tool we must use it carefully the workings of the theodolite are not
much different from the workings of the telescope equipment. The theodolite includes a telescope
mounted on a spherical disk so that the user can rotate the instrument around its vertical axis. With
this working system, users will find it easier to read horizontal angles. In the place where the
telescope is installed is also equipped with a second dish. This allows the telescope on the theodolite
to rotate around its horizontal axis so that the vertical angle can also be read.
