Subject: Verification of Location Hole Opening Air-conditioning Pipework at type B

Typical Unit

Based on the site condition, refer RFI letter ref no: 43.18/RFI/191. We would like to highlight
we can’t core at your propose location at the middle due to impact our air conditioning unit
pipework. Thus, we proceed to hack at the our propose location in RFI with ref no: RFI-
MVERTICA-GS-012 to avoid any delay ceiling work progress. We changed method hacking
from coring to avoid any trims of RC bar.

In our justification, if hole opening at middle cause RC bar need to be trimmed and if
can’t be trimmed, opening need to be adjusted to the left and right cause that hole is too
narrow to install 2 copper pipes, drain pipe with external insulation and cable wire in conduit.
The other things need to be concerned is space of copper flaring installation so limited cause
that installer difficult to do it.

The best solution in our pipework installation is hacking at minimum 10-50mm from
the wall.
