Comments: Areas of Strength

Danielle has built a positive relationship with all the students in the classroom as well as groups of students within the school through
extra curricular activities (eco club, basketball team, tchoukball team). She has participated in a variety of professional development
opportunities (SAFE talk certification, School Improvement Meetings working with math consultants, divisional meetings and staff
meeting). At these events she has acted professionally and was always willing to learn. Danielle excels in classroom management. She
uses various positive strategies to get students attention and keep them on task. Danielle planned all of her lessons carefully and based
many lessons on the interests of students. She used various assessment strategies with confidence (checklist, observation, rubrics) to
assess students on an on going basis. Danielle gave positive yet construct feedback to students. The children in the class enjoyed having
Ms. Joly in the class and she was a positive role model for all students. Danielle took feedback well and applied all feedback after lessons
to her teachings the next day.

Comments: Next Steps

Next Steps for Danielle, are to always consider any accommodations or modifications that some students might need. She is also
encouraged to give more movement breaks during longer lessons. If she notices students are losing focus, she may need to redirect her
lesson or consolidate it.
