Answer: The lesson objectives is, at the end of a 60-minute


period, the students will be able to identify the characteristics of
the Earth that are necessary to support life.

b. What are included in the subject matter?

Answer: The subject matter includes the topic which is the


characteristics of Earth necessary to support life.

c. What procedure or method will the teacher use to implement the


plan?

Answer: The procedure or method that the teacher used to


implement the plan are as follows: review, motivation,
presentation, exploration and discovery, developing mastery,
application, and generalization.

d. Will the teacher assess or evaluate the lesson? How will this be
done?

Answer: Yes. The teacher evaluated the lesson through a


summative tests/ short quiz with two types the multiple choice and
the check/crosses.

B. Implementing Now it's time to observe how the teacher implemented the prepared
lesson plan. Observe closely the procedure.

a. How did the teacher begin the lesson?

Answer: The teacher begins the lesson through greetings,


prayer, presenting classroom rules, and checking of attendance.

b. What procedure or steps were followed?

Answer: The procedure or steps that had been followed are


the review, motivation, presentation, exploration and discovery,
developing mastery, application and generalization.

c. How did the teacher engage the learners?

Answer: The teacher engaged the learners through a series of


presenting a pictures, and showing a video presentation related to
lesson.

d. Was the teacher a guide at the side?

Answer: Yes.

e. Were the learners on task? /Or were they participating in the class
activity?

Answer: Yes. They both on task participating in a cooperative


learning/ group activity

f. Was the lesson finished within the class period?

Answer: Yes. The time allotted for the given lesson is enough
to finished the targeted number of minutes within a period.

Answer: Yes.

1. How does the teacher whom you observed compare to the ideal characteristics or
competencies of global quality teachers?

Answer: The teacher whom I had been observed can be compared to the ideal characteristics
or competencies of global quality teachers in a way that she manifests understanding and
knowing what to teach, creating a classroom environment that values diversity, classroom
management, instructional delivery, equipped assessments, expertise in content and
pedagogy, flexible and innovative attitude.

2. Was the lesson implemented as planned? Describe.

Answer: Yes. The lesson was implemented as planned beecuase it follows the teaching and
learning process which gives positive impact on students' learning. Apply strategic ways in
order to achieve desired objectives and goals so students learning targets should be learnt.

3. Can you describe the disposition of the teacher after the lesson was taught? Happy and
eager? Satisfied and contented? Disappointed and exhausted?

Answer: At the same Nd of the teaching, the teachers' seems happy and eager, satisfied and
contented because she achieved the desired learning plan of the day and her lesson is a
successful one.

4. Can you describe the majority of students' reactions after the lesson was taught? Confused?
Happy and eager? Contented? No reactions at all.

Answer: The students majority reaction's seems happy and eager to the lessons being
employed and taught to them.

Based on your observations and tasks in Activity 4, how will you prepare your lesson plan?
Make a short paragraph on the topic.

Answer: I can prepare my lesson plan by means of following the major curriculum
components which are to plan, implement, and evaluate/assess. Identify the lesson
objectives, plan specific learning activities, plan to assess student's understanding in an
engaging and meaningful manner of learning, aligns the instructional materials with the
assessment, and aligns the assessment with the learning goal.

Answer: Yes. The outcomes, teaching methods, and assessment are constructively aligned, it
helps minimize wasted times as students are able to focus on skills geared towards the
learning objectives and gained cognitive processes. The components support each other to
achieve the teaching and learning goals.

Answer: Yes. There is a connection between the outcomes and the teaching methods which
supports each other. This contributes to the mastery of content of the lesson being delivered
to students.

3. What component would tell if the outcomes have been achieved?

Answer: Through assessment methods, it is an evidence that learning took place. The
performance of the students that are expected to demonstrate at the end of instruction was
met.

Reflect

What lessons have you learned in developing or writing a lesson plan?

Answer: There should be a clear goal/objective of what students need to learn, how the
objectives will be achieved (the teaching methods) and a way to measure how well the goal
was reached (assessment).

What value will it give to the teacher if the three components are aligned?

Answer: The alignment of outcomes, teaching methods and assessment serves as basis that
teacher's planning, implementation and evaluation technique is a successful one.

3. After closely observing the learners' response to the teacher's use of learning resources how
will you describe their verbal and non- verbal responses? What do their responses indicate? Are
they learning and are they showing their interest in the lesson and in the materials?

Answer: The learner's responses to the teachers' use of learning resources when it comes to
verbal and non-verbal communication they are active and results to more productive learning
engagement. It draws student's attention to understand more and have a clearer vision of
what they are learning. They effectively shown appropriate classroom behaviour which
includes body language, communication skills and achieved desired learning. Yes. Through
the support of the materials to the lesson they learned and gained interests.

4. Using Technology Integration Matrix in which level of technology integration do you think
the teacher you observed operated? Why?

Answer: The level of technology integration of the teachers' being observed is in the entry
level where the teacher uses technology to deliver curriculum content to students.

5. Based on the Technology Integration Matrix, what is the characteristic of the learning
environment in the class that you observed? Point your observations that justify your answer.

Answer: The characteristic of the learning environment in class that I've observed are C I've
and collaborative. Students are actively engaged using technology as a tool of allowing
learning to take place. Collaborative where students engaged in a collaborative learning with
their teacher and peers by developing theorie, test their ideas, and creating evidence of their
learning.

6. Over-all, were the learning resources appropriate and used effectively? Why? Why not? Give
your suggestions.

Answer: Yes. The learning resources are appropriate and effectively used because the teacher
was very resourceful in finding means of delivering lessons where students can solely benefits
towards their goal of achieving learning needs. Learning resources adapted serves as a tool
for the task to accomplished.
