Dear Arizona State University:

I am writing to you today because I am interested in applying for your Windgate Curator of Contemporary Craft and
Design Fellowship position, which I found through the Arizona State University job search. I believe that the
positions align with a lot of what I am looking for in a job and think that I would be a great fit for the position. I
have a bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies and have volunteered with museums throughout my degree progress. I
think that if I were hired, I would make a great addition to the team. I like to be able to talk with people and to put to
work. I always push myself to work hard and I able to work with other people as well and learn from them. I believe
I have a good understanding of art history and my knowledge could be useful. I think that the skills you would like
for the position aligns with some of my skills as well:
 I can work well with faculty, staff, donor, volunteers, and students.
 I have worked closely with Arizona State University because I am a graduate of Arizona State University
 I have worked with other museums and think I am well versed in professional museum practice
 I can work well with others and help take different ideas and try to implement them
 I can work in stressful situations that involve changing priorities and tight timelines
