SHADOW FIGHTING

AN EXPRESSION OF THE INNER SELF

SOLO SHADOWING
The shadow is a solitary world, an inner universe where we are completely alone, alone in
the limitlessness realm of our own mental universe.

How we express in the physical form is a complete reflection of all we are, of our inner
thoughts and absorbed knowledge.

It is in this solitary universe, and alone, our mind seeks to make sense of all we have
ingested and digested, and navigating the complex mental matrix of our thoughts is
deeply challenging on so many levels.

Via a genuine understanding of dynamic meditation we are able to stimulate and provoke
a physical reflection of our mental state, and our understanding of self.
We must continue to feed and stimulate the brain on a daily basis in order to break old
and conditioned boundaries.

Visualizing within our mind, how to see and fight with one person is already too difficult
for most, but visualizing engaging with more than one opponent stretches the
capabilities of the brain outside the realm of normality.

Through the development of a “trained brain” we are able to “see the unseen” ... it is this
“Unseen” that eludes most. When we transmit this mental and emotional awareness into
the physical form we then see a true reflection of who we really are, and our true
abilities; it reflects what our mind genuinely “owns”.

SHADOWING WITH A PARTNER
VISUAL STIMULUS

When we shadow with a partner the objective is to try and

respond to what we see.

There are many levels of development within the shadow, as there

are with all areas of our training.

This response style of shadow is simple, yet highly productive, and

also great fun as it lifts our attention and observation sharply, and
keeps us on “full throttle” for the duration of the shadow training
round.
