A. MAIN CALCULATION
Known :

LWT of the ship = 1708,28 ton

Centre of Gravity from Midship = S2 / S1 = -0,700 m

a empty ship weight (LWT) = 1708,28

LCG = -0,70

b Ship Launching Tools

Ship Launching Tools is 7% - 16% from the weight of ship that

launched

Direncanakan = 7%

LWT tools = 7 % x LWT

= 119,580 ton

c Launching Weight (P)

P = LWT Empty Ship + LWT Tools

q = 1708.279 + 119.580 = 1827,86 ton

d LCG

LCG =(Lwt empty ship x LCG) + (Lwt tools x 0)

Lwt empty ship + Lwt tools

= [1708.279 x -0.70 + 119.58 x 0]/[1708.28 + 119.58]

= -0,65 m

e volume from ship launching tools

V = Wle / 0,8 (ρ = 0,8 )

= 119.58/0.8
= 149,474 m³

f Lifting Force of Ship Launching Tools

g V. = V x ρ air laut

= 149.47 x 1.025

= 153,211 ton

g displacement after ship launching tools added

Δ = P-γV

= 1827.86 - 153.21

= 1674,65 ton

a Length of the Ground Ways(S)

Length of Groundways is 80% x Lpp

S = 80% x Lpp Lpp = 120,00 m

= 96 m

b Pressure allowed

Pressure Allowed to groundways is function of the length of ship

For Lpp = 100 m, maka tekanannya s = 20,00 ton/m

For Lpp = 150 m, maka tekanannya s = 25,00 ton/m

So, For Lpp = 120,00 m

The purpose ( s max) = 22,00 ton/m [Interpolasi]

c Ship Weight

S = P / (n x b x s max)

where,

P = launching pressure

= 1827,86 ton

n= total of Launch Cradle

= 3 buah

S= Length of Launch Cradle

= 96,00 m

b= P / (n x S x s)

= 1827.86/(3 x 96.00 x 22.00)

= 0,29 m = 0.3 m

d Height of Launch Cradle (h)

Height of Launch Cradle = 30 cm

= 0,3 m

e Size of GroundWays

Length ( S ) = 96,000 m

beam ( b ) = 0,300 m

height ( h ) = 0,300 m
total ( n ). = 3 buah

Length AP to Asepatu (m) = 12,00 m

f. Doing Slope

l = 30,00 m

a = 3,000

Depth of water in the edge of Ground :

H = sin a x l m

= sin (3.00 x 30.00) m

= 1,570 m

g H > T Correction

P Launching = 1827,858 ton

LCG = -0,654 m

Known that some variable from "Hidrostatic Curve" that is MTC,

LCB, dan LCF

MTC = 169,8300 ton/cm

LCB = 2,9350 m

LCF = 1,065 m
Different Draft ( DT ) = - [(LCG-LCB) x Volume] / [1000 x MTC]
where

Volume = P / ρ ; ρ = 1,025

= 1827.86/1.025

= 1783,276

So, DT. =- [(-0.654 - 2.935) x 1783.276]/[1000 x 169.830]

= 0,0377 m

DTa = ( Lpp/2 + LCF ) x DT / Lpp

= (120.00/2 + 1.065) x / 0.0377/120.00

= 0,019

Ta (Aft Draft) = t + DTa m

= 0,319 m

S = Length of Groundways

= 96,000 m

m = (Lpp - S) / 2

= 12,000 m

X = (Tf x Lpp)/Ta

= 112,79 m

Y = [Ta x (X+m)] / [X+Lpp]

= 0,1711 m
thus T = Y + height of groundways

= 0,4711 m

Because , H = 1,5701 m

T= 0,4711 m

And becausw H > T, so The Ship is not Tipping

h. First Period

Hs = 6

Degree =3

Water to station =2

Ta = 0,63

Tf = -5,66

For Ship

Volume of the ships

Vkp =1/3 x hs x ∑1
=3,077 m3

Bouyancy of the ships

APBkp = (∑2/∑1) x hs

= 6m

For GroundWays

Volume of GroundWays

Vsl = 0.5 x t x ba x b x n

= 0,77 m3

Buoyancy of GroundWays

APBsl = m + ba/3

= 13,91 m

Volume of Ship Launching

V = Vkp + Vsl

= 3,85 m3

Bouyancy of Ship Launching

APB = (Vkp.APBkp + Vsl.APBsl)/V

= 7,588 m
If the fs less than the groundways slope, the ships can launch
without pushing
