Introduction

Workers participation in management refers to the participation of non-


managerial employees in the decision making process of the organization. Workers
participation gives employees the mental and psychological satisfaction and thereby increase
their involvement in the affairs of the organization.

Conceptual definition

Keith Davis defines workers participation as the mental and


emotional involvement of a person in a group situation which encourages him to contribute to
group goals and share in responsibility of achieving them.

Operational definition

Workers participation means giving the worker a sense of


importance, pride and accomplishment. Giving him the feeling of belongingness with the
place of work and a sense of workmanship and creativity.
Aim

 The primary aim of this study is to understand the workers participation in


management.

Objectives

 To determine the factors for workers participation in organization.


 To analyse the opportunities of employees in organization.
 To examine the effectiveness of workers participation in organization.

Research methodology

Research design :- Descriptive type


Research sampling :- Simple random sampling
Research tool :- Questionnaire
Sample size :- 50 from the population
