Conversation with gerunds and infinitives.

Gerunds

Nancy: I miss talking to my best friend. I remember going everywhere with her!

María: because you stopped talking

Nancy: We celebrated 30 years at the same time, but then got a new job and moved to Barranquilla.

María: I remember hearing this before. Have you talked to her recently?

Nancy: Yes, but I'm sorry I can not call her more often, I have little time for long conversations.

María: I imagine that being away is difficult and you miss her a lot because they grew up together, from
little ones to being together at school!

Nancy: that's right. I like to spend time with her!

Infinitives.

Camilo: Do you want to go to the movies?

Jennifer: No, I need to buy a new swimsuit at the store.

Camilo: Oh, I forgot to tell you that I already bought you a new swimsuit.

Jennifer: did you? You promised to save money for our trip!

Camilo: I offered to pay it before, but you said no, so I bought it when I went shopping alone!

Jennifer: That's nice of you, but I refuse to accept it.

Camilo: I hope to get my money back from the store when I return this.

Jennifer: I do not want to make you angry, but you need to save money!
