Science process skills definition
Observation Observations are made by using
the 5 senses. Good observations
are essential in learning the other
science process skills.
Classifying grouping or ordering objects or
events into categories based upon
characteristics or defined criteria
(similarities, differences).
Measuring using standard measures or
estimations to describe specific
dimensions of an object or event.
Communicating It is being able to share our
experiences.
Inferring It is an explanation based on an
observation.
Predicting It is an educated guess based on
good observations by using prior
knowledge.

at the end of each week while they
are in teaching practice.
