To Whom It May Concern,

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for Mr. Nicholas
Flores, an SB 2042 California Preliminary Single Subject Social Science Teaching
Credential and Master’s degree graduate at the University of Redlands. Mr. Flores’
commitment to excellence in teaching has been exhibited throughout his coursework
and fieldwork experiences. Our teaching credential program focuses not only on
educational theory but also on its practical application as we prepare teachers to be
successful in diverse and inclusive classrooms. Mr. Flores has completed our teaching
credential program with outstanding experiential and academic background. He
expanded his teaching skills completing a highly successful 14 week full-time student
teaching experience in 12th grade social science classrooms at Colony High School,
Chaffey Joint Union School District, in Southern California.

As former Director of Fieldwork Experiences, Advising and Credentialing for the

School of Education and currently the professor for Mr. Flores’ teaching seminar
course, I am impressed with his professionalism, passion for teaching social science,
depth of content knowledge, excellent content specific pedagogical skills, and ability to
think critically regarding his teaching through analysis and reflection. He has
developed into an excellent teacher and is indeed a leader among his peers.

Mr. Flores is an outstanding teacher and role model for students as they develop into
citizens of the 21st century. He will certainly be an asset to your school staff. I highly
recommend Mr. Nicholas Flores for the teaching position of his choice. Please feel free
to contact me if you have any further questions regarding Mr. Nicholas Flores.

Sincerely,
Margo Drallos
