GMA NETWORK SCHEDULE ANALYSIS

The GMA network surely has a diverse set of programs, its programs
focusses on different aspects of media such as news, entertainment, religion,
business and educational. GMA is known for its exceptional news casting
programs such as 24 Oras, Reporter’s Notebook, I-Witness those have set the
standard for the GMA network. In terms of programs in entertainment it’s not
that strong but their diverse and versatile programming makes up for that
weak part of the program. On weekends their programs are mostly
entertainment and has a news break by evening. On Saturdays and Sundays
programs that are set have drama, educational and news which is a great thing
as that kind of weekend schedule does give a lot of experiences mostly for the
young viewers. For me GMA has a great concern and consideration over its
viewer especially to its young viewers.
The two programs are great in their respective ways ABS-CBN focuses
mostly on entertainment while GMA focuses on news casting and different set
of programs that gives them versatility.
