Special tools for drive shafts


Tool set 1002290
Removing and dismantling a drive shaft without
suitable special tools can damage the constant
velocity joint.

With the universal tool set 1002290, all commer-


cially available drive shafts can be professionally
removed and dismantled.

press the drive shaft out of the wheel hub with reduced force.

The clamping device (4) enables uniform and controlled removal of


the constant velocity joint from the shaft. The shaft is held with the
clamping jaws and the constant velocity joint is withdrawn with the
nut/bolt in a straight line.

Clamps, which are usually used with axle boots, can be installed
quickly and easily with the special pliers (3).
