Subject: Profiling Internal Transfers/Promotions on Haven411
Hey Trimeka -
I know Arthur has talked to you about profiling Pat Carney on Haven 411, who is in the process
of being promoted to Webmaster. I would like for us to develop a process for
profiling/congratulating all of our internal transfers/promotions on Haven 411. This will further
promote Haven’s commitment to Talent Management and Employee Development, and
hopefully encourage others to keep an eye on the open position log and raise their hand when
they see something they are interested in pursuing.
Recently Candy Ortega was promoted from the Front Desk Receptionist to Administrative
Secretary in the ET York Care Center; Irene Wainwright was recently promoted from Senior
Social Worker to Manager, Psychosocial Services. Debra - am I missing anyone? Please have
someone on your team work with the hiring managers (for Candy, it would be Susan Sparks, for
Pat - Arthur, and for Irene - Cassie) and let HR know if you need further information/assistance.
One of my “to do’s” is to work up some formal guidelines for announcing new employees,
transfers/promotions, and those that leave Haven. Once I get a little farther along in that
process, we can chat about future application of Haven 411, but in the meantime I wanted to be
sure we noted the ones that have recently occurred.
