 DAILY REPORT

Overview:
Visited the power plant site and followed the operation and maintenance
activities performed during the day.

Maintenance Activities:
Throughout the day following maintenance activities are witnessed in the plant
site area:

Cooling Towers:
The cleaning activity of guardrails of two remaining cooling towers 8 and 9 was
performed by mechanical maintenance department. The condition of guardrails
of all the cooling towers is very bad. New guardrail structures should be installed
in all the cooling towers.

HP Live Steam MOV:

The worm gear of HP Live steam MOV of HRSG-3 was removed from the actuator
body of MOV. The upper body of MOV is now sent outside of the plant area for
welding of the damaged body of the actuator.

ST Condenser:
The cleaning of tubes of condenser is in progress by mechanical maintenance
department with high pressure jet cleaner Fussen FS22/50.

Batteries PM Checks:
Today, electrical maintenance department performed the preventive
maintenance of batteries located in Emergency diesel generator room and fire
fighting diesel engine room.

Instruments Health Checks:

Cleaning and health checks of HP/LP instruments and control valves of all three
HRSGs was performed by I&C maintenance department.

Motor Operated Valve:

The sealing of electrical connections of motor operated valve of HP live steam of
HRSG was performed by electrical maintenance department to avoid any damage
to electrical connections because MOV was sent outside for some repairing work.

ST Lube Oil Purifier:

Portable lube oil purifier of steam turbine was in service for the purification of
lube oil in the steam turbine hall.

SF6 Gas Pressure:

Today observed the SF6 gas pressure of 52G circuit breaker of GT-1.
The pressure of SF6 gas at 12PM was 710kPa, at 3PM the pressure was
720kPa and at 5PM the pressure was around 725kPa.
