● To maximize engagement in our school to the highest degree including,
the students, faculty, and community through physical activity
opportunities.
● Provide Students with a direct outlet for participation in physical
activity outside of school

Overview
Physical Activity During School
- “ Walk the halls”
- Polar heart rate monitors
- Home room class with the most steps wins
- 2 week competition
- Class that wins get to choose prize from sponsors
- Bulletin boards with all students name on it.
- Tradition
- Keys to success : Help from all homeroom teachers.
- At least 25 heart rate monitors that tracks steps.

- Software that goes to heart rate monitors

○ 2-3 week seasons/units
○ 1st half of the season/unit: skill development
○ 2nd half of the season/unit: culminating event (tournament)
○ Hand out flyers of intramural league that corresponds with class seasons
○ Inform the students about intramural league

participating in the sport.
