CHAPER III

METHODOLOGY

The chapter presents the research design, the respondents of the study,

the data gathering instruments used, and the statistical treatment applied in the

data gathered.

Research Design

This study used descriptive research design utilizing a standardized and

self- constructed questionnaire in gathering the needed data.

Respondents of the Study

The respondents of the study was the (population) Grade 7,8,10

Homogenous classes of Sta. Teresa College composed of () males and ()

females. This sample were derived through the Slovin’s Formula.

Sampling Procedure

Since the total population of homogenous classes from Grade 7, 8, 10 of

Sta. Teresa College is too big, the researcher will use the Slovin’s Formula to get

the sample that can represent the whole population of the Homogenous classes

from Grade 7, 8, 10 Araling Panlipunan class.

Data Gathering Instrument

The researchers used a self-constructed questionnaire as a data

gathering tool. This tool is used to determine the effect of E-book in classroom
interaction as perceived by the respondents. Overall, this tool has a twenty-nine

(29) items.
